Guys what alpha engine is the mp9 coming with?

Is it the cheap one?

Does anyone know if it is a good engine? is there a better one on the alpha 21 buggy competition line engine?

Have just looked on the Japanese Kyosho site and the only car listed as coming with an engine is an original TKI which comes with a Sirio Evo Kanai.

Both TKI2s listed say a .21 engine is required for operation and is no sign of one being included.

Perhaps it is a deal being offered by your country's distributor...

There you go, from what I was told when making an order about these were that there was a bunch coming from Japan and pretty much 99% of them were backordered (preordered) already. I could not get one when I found out about them ( and we are a Kyosho dealer). This is the best package in my opinion. TKI2 will not include an engine unless there is a special package, your better off seeing what going on in Japan with combos.

I have a CRF/ABi 7-Port Ceramic and I have it sent to my motor man for a pinch, and will be breaking it back in this weekend.

What are the starting needle settings for the Alphas? I can't find anything in the manual on needle settings.

Did they make a 3 port US Spec? I'm not sure this engine you described exists... :( the Alpha line of engines is completely different than the US Spec model...

That is the US Spec that was Picco based. All the "New" Alpha's are completely different in everyway. I ran the US Spec, and it hauled the groceries LOL when I could tune the carb that was impossible to seal:nod:
