Thanks.. What's it comparable to?

They're being auctioned off here pretty regularly.. As if it's a sell-off of old stock or something..

How cheap $US wise

Well, I am please with the 2012 factory team 5 port.runtime was around 12.20 min n the large track.
The important part is the head shim,do not try to reduce or add.the gap between piston at tdc and combustion chamber must be at 0.60mm.
And also the nitro you use,the more castor fuel need hotter plug.
I am running 13/46 or 13/47 gearing on my Losi Eu.

Rumour that the new 2013 model are even better!

Was the Orion Discovery 5 posts engine the cheap one a Picco base motor?

Thanx

I see that this thread seems to be fading off, but was wondering if anyone had a lead on where I could get a piston and sleeve for a Discovery 5 port, they seem to be out of stock everywhere I look.

I'm looking for a piston and sleeve for my crf 5 port. Anybody know where I can pick one up?

I also have a 5 port crf (JTP edition) that needs a new piston and sleeve. Have been searching for it online for over a year, still no luck... I found out that Team Orion has a terrible parts support...

I don't think they ever sold them here in the states. I have always ran the 5 port .21 in truck and it always had way more than enough power.

This is my only complaint with them. I love the engines as they have always worked great for me but their support is just outright terrible.

Give Horizonhobby a call, they got Nvision piston/sleeve that can fit your Orion.
My friend just change the MTE Orion piston/sleeve by using Nvision

I tried to fit a piston and sleeve from a Nvision NVB521R I have, but the sleeve does not fit the block. The "lip"of the Nvision sleeve has a bigger diameter than the Team Orion one, so the sleeve does not fit completely inside the Team Orion block.

Does anyone know what Nvision piston/sleeve set would fit a Team Orion 5 port JTP engine? I already bought a 7-port Team Orion piston/sleeve set, because I was told it would fit my engine, but it didn't, and I don't want to make the same mistake again...

Just a quick question for experts, i'd like to buy a 2058 pipe for my Orion engine (i'm now running the 2013). I saw different brands that sell 2058 are they similar or is better to buy the Orion one?
Generally the different brands are cheaper.
Thanks for your time and help.
Bye.
