It is a Cody King edition. I typically use the radio, and adjust the trim until it will continue to run, for the first few tanks.. |
Well I have already messed with lsn. I'm a dummy, so where is factory or what will get me close

Factory for both HSN and LSN is flush.

Unfortunately, this is not true. I bought a 7port p/s set, but is does not fit my 5port JTE engine. The flange outside diameter of the 7port sleeve is bigger.

how much fuel are you guys generally running before these motors are losing their pinch ? I think have around 1800cc through mine. it still has a bit of pinch.

discovery
I finally got to run the buggy at the local track properly with the 5 port Discovery in it. I had put the new head button and LSN in it before I left and all I can say is WOW! The thing was insane! I have about 3/4 of a gallon threw it and left the HSN at about flush or a little in from flush and turned the new LSN in until it came alive. The throttle response was almost instant and it has a lot of bottom and mid-top with the 2058. The sound it made was awesome too..... Braapppp! Can't wait to try the 2013. I'm running byron's 30% /9% with the #5 plug at almost sea level in cool dense air. Very impressed!

I had one wait until 1.5 gallons to drop its nuts and another drop them at .5 gallons. Too many factors to say when it will finally break-in..

well i put another about 500cc through it still has some pinch. I am just anxious to see how it feels broken in. It has quite a bit of power now. It has close to 3/4 of gallon ran through it

.75 gallons is very close.. I think you can lean it some with no problems.. just don't death rev it and run out of fuel, you'll be fine

Hi,
Got a five port orion and think one of the bearings may have gone. I'm hearing an odd noise when reving the engine. Kinda sounds like cicadas chirping. Odd I know but I can't think of any other way to describe it. The engine idles smoothly enough and generally sounds Ok aside from the odd noise. The only thing I can think of is that a bearing is gone. The pitch of the noise changes depending on the revs. Any thoughts? Thanks. |
