I am pretty sure but not 100% that the fire 11 P/S/R will fit.

RB break in method or heat cycle? Just picked up a V12.

....says WS9 on top....

Just looked through the parts diagrams of several models based on the original S7. The PSR all have the same part number 01143. This is between the Original S7, WS7, WS7X3, Fire 11, WS9, etc.

Pretty much I don't think RB has designed a new PSR setup for Offroad since Rody sold out in 2006-7ish. The have changed cases, bearings sizes, color, head shape, and maybe different Carbs. They may have adjusted piston materials over time also.

Thats not to say they aren't great engines though. It says a lot about how great their engines were back then and still are today even if they only look different.

It is not always the new stuff thats better than the old stuff. Much of the reasson for getting good milage on alot of Nova produced engines is the carb.

The first Novarossi +4 engine, the piton/sleeve was from the CLB that won the Euros in 1998 :-)

any RB button from an engine that has the same bore will fit.some RB's
have a diffrent bore/stroke ratio so the button will not fit the sleve
corectley.

No comment on the differences between the Blast V12 and V14? I really want a C6 clone..

The V14 I can get for €180ish shipped - with pipe.. The V12 is still $189 at amain afaik - without pipe... So in other words I can get the V14 locally for a good price with pipe. The V12 would be like $50 cheaper, without pipe, but would have to get sent to a relative, who would then send it to me, etc.. Wouldn't see it for six weeks.. (not that big a deal though..)

V14 info:

• Steife 14mm BiTurbo-Kurbelwelle
• Laufbuchse mit 5+2 Spülung und Multi-Exhaust-System (MES)
• Leichter Wettbewerbskolben + Hochleistungspleuel
• Praktische orangefarbige Verschlussstopfen für Vergaser, Auslass und Treibstoffanschluss

RB Yuichi Kanai Limited Edition engine

I like that its a 3-port

Its it more of the sport 3 port back in the day or better timing and good run time?

All I can say is the Blast V12 has been absolutely amazing for us......things that stand out so far is how easy it tunes with the short LSN and how strong it idles.....The power is great and very well balanced with a absolutely shrieking exhaust note........The top end charge of this engine is nothing short of amazing...... On the low end the power is quite smooth, but at the same time very potent....I had it in my truggy for a while and it was able to clear our triple with about half throttle........ Another standout is the fuel mileage... We are seeing mileage beyond anything else we have seen since the Werks B5.......all in all a fantastic engine.....

what the hell is "afaik"?:weird:
Forget it....I googled it... as far as I know....

Herrsavage 07-30-2013 10:58 AM

Well, I sent an email to RMV(asking about differences among the Blasts..), and their answer was kind of lame.. It basically said "We love the V14" (the only version they're selling), and "if you want even more power, get the BX-R"...

He also said the Blast series is all based off the long-stroke C6, which it not true.. So I guess they just didn't put much thought into their answer..

RCmayor 07-30-2013 03:03 PM

That is actually true, and the BX line is an evolution of the C6.
