Yep. I don't know what it is about LM pipes but they seem to work great on EVERYTHING. Sure there may be better options for certain motors but I have yet to find a motor that doesn't run very good on a 2013 or 2058.

Actually in onroad, it seems to be the manifold that is the magic as an LM manifold on a Picco pipe is a night and day difference. Haven't had the chance to try such combos in offroad yet.

I Agree..... those 2 pipes run good on pretty much every nitro engine across the board...probably the most versatile tuned pipes on the market....And as a extra bonus they sound phenomenal....

the piston and sleeve are not the same............. the BXR has a fancy billet dished/domed "Team" piston...the Blast V12 has a flat top cast piston ....the sleeves however are more or less the same....

Maximo, what are the differences between the 2058 and 2013?

they are both very nice engines..... the P5 is a workhorse of a engine and has been proven many times over... The Blast is also a wicked engine.......The Blast is likely a limited production item, the P5 is a regular production engine... So I dont think you can go wrong either way...

they are very similar pipes, except the 2058 is shorter and has its powerband pushed a few thousand RPM up over the 2013....... The 2013 has an extremely strong low end... the 2058 has a strong low end, not quite as strong as 2013, but it has more upper mid and top end power........... On most engines the 2058 is the most balanced, but sometimes the 2013 can also be perfect.... both are great pipes

Does anybody know for sure what the differences are from the Blast V11 to the Blast V12?

I have always wanted an RB C6, and I keep hearing that some of the Blast models like the V8 and the V12 are basically rebadged C6's. Is the V11?(could get one for a good price..) Also, what about the V14?

And do all of these have the c.rappy Novarossi black front bearing?..

And last question, what exactly is the advantage, if any, of the MES exhaust porting or whatever? In the descriptions the V11 just says "5+2" for ex., but the V12 and V14 say "5+2 with MES..."

Thanks..

Hey guys where's the best place to buy rb replacement engine parts, I have what I think is a RB WS7 engine, sorry it's been a little hard to work out which model the actual engine is, but I'm pretty sure it's a WS7 anyway I'm looking for a new sleeve and piston/rod kit where would be the place to look :)

I have used many hours to find one and it is impossible. There are some that might fit but the partumber for the original WS7 is dsicontinued my RB go to guy told me.

If you find it, let me know please :-)

Herrsavage 07-28-2013 04:27 AM

I believe some of the other Blast models - like the V2 and V4 maybe - used WS7 parts.. Probably cheaper to buy a whole Blast (if you can find one) than just OG RB spare parts..

ohh ok thanks guys, so not looking too good lol

Says the V4 is based on the WS9... I guess you could google and maybe find a manual with part numbers. Or, send a mail directly to RMV Germany.. In fact, RMV Germany is probably a very good place to ask... Just send them a mail..:

Afaik they started with the Blasts, and it was all just a way to get rid of old parts..
