What is the correct shimming for a GO .25 6 port using 25% nitro? Is the crank for the .25 6 port different from the .21 5/7 port engines? What is a good pipe to use for the .25 6 port? I have; 086, ttr 2035. 0801, and 2047. What would be the best one to use for a medium sized track in a truggy. Thanks

I would probably take out one thin .004 shim for 25% but never tried it. The .25 and .28 crank are the same but longer stroke than a .21. We've been running a 086 but the 0801 works very well and gets better mileage. You could try the 2047 with the 0801 header also. We've been running the .25 with the turbo button and a shim to change timing and it kicks butt.

Hey Guys - just to let anyone know in the UK that we will be the Go official importer for the new GX range and will be carrying all the spares as well so Zonda we will have all these bits hopefully in the next 10 days.

We are also doing to MG66`s over here and had them land today - very nice indeed!

Pete

would a backwards fuel filter make my engine run inconsistently? I rebuilt my engine after having a runaway, but noticed the engine didn't tune consistently, a guy at my LHS noticed that the filter was backwards and flipped it around and now it seems to run like new. could the filter cause this problem? thank you for your time.

yes! harder to let fuel through. some filters it won't matter which way you put it in,others will be just like the ones for your car. they never show fuel flow direction[at least I haven't seen one] what I do is hook up some tubing at one end and blow through, then switch ends. how ever it comes out of which end the easiest is the way it should point to carb. And actually I do not run a fuel filter any more. First off there is one in my gas tank second if you start developing engine problems, like you think you have an air leak? Check fuel filter first always. Take it out of line and hook tubing direct see if problem solved.
