As already said flush and flush but I've yet to have a GO motor that will idle for more than a few seconds without screwing the lsn in 1 turn...even for run in..otherwise they just load-up and die..

just remember fuel air temp humidy conditions glow plugs make a big differance when tuning as well but when you get lost reset every thing flush and start again thats why its flush standard makes it easy :)

Hey guys, I've got a question on the 7 port. How many head shims do I need when running it on 25% nitro? Can I use the same amount of shims as when it's running on 20% nitro?

mattwoodcraft 08-01-2009 04:30 AM

i would think just 1 .2 mm shim would be okey that would give you a total of .5 and 25% nitro on this will be good :)

RCHavoc 08-01-2009 09:21 AM

Malik, you have a PM...

I'll give that a go () then. Thanks.

I run my 7 port with 2 .1mm shims..perfect with 25% nitro..

Ignore picture date.

bigmatt 08-01-2009 06:17 PM

how do you like the ebm5port?

zJatoRad 08-01-2009 06:43 PM

it has sick bottom end, I can keep my finger on the trigger and it simply won't go over 230deg, awesome top end as well, very happy with it.

bigmatt 08-01-2009 07:46 PM

I wonder why ed isn't doing these any more?

rageworks 08-01-2009 08:25 PM

Ed is in the US, he can't get any friggin GO parts
either. Now he is going to be selling JS engines.
He says that the people at the GO factory introduced
him to the JS factory people.
Me, I guess i'm going to throw in the towel as
far as my GO engines go. I'll hammer all five of
them until they blow and use them for paper weights.
