I have a question that has nothing to do with engines. When you go over jumps and the front or car wants to nose dive down, is that from the rear shock oil being to lite? or not enough preload in the springs? Or are the springs preloading themselves by compressing to fast?:weird: I read some where and I cannot remember were, but I thought it was to light of an oil causing to much compression, hence the fast lift off. Dam I need to start writing these things down. With all the info to remember on tuning these cars it's a wonder I can get around the track at all.

in my experaince i have found that this can be caused by the oild been to thick ... you could try a lighter oil .. what i do with my cars is put the largest hole pistons and then start changing oil till it feels settled and handles jumps acclerates the way i like it thats what i have done for years :)

another important thing to remember is your droop setting are correct :)

my truggy loved to nose dive all the time till i made the changes with pistons and oil :)

Good pipe the 0801 but just a bit too thin walled and fragile.
Order a new 2072 from Massive Mods. With your exchange rate you will get a cool price, and Mark will ship it to you real fast. HP readings with the new 2072 are scary. Will make your EBMods scream

i heard the GO tech will change 0801 pipe material and made it process same EFRA 2072 pipe as soon.:D

I need a new engine with great fuel mileage, thinking of a go. Any suggestions on one?? Are they still good if there not modified? If not what is the best mod and how do I go about getting it done? Thanks for all/any help!

tagalong_74 06-20-2009 07:45 PM

yes these motors are amazing modded or not. The 21 7pt turbo gets great fuel mileage and is perfect for a buggy.

I race on a huge moto style track sound good for the 7 port? What about a mod where/whos the best?

tagalong_74 06-20-2009 07:53 PM

yes then the 7pt would be great for you. It has endless top end and crazy bottom end so you will be good. As for modding I couldn't tell you mine is not modded and keeps right up with every modded motor at my track and gets good gas mileage. 7pt is a real amazing motor

Great info, thanks!

You could get a 7 port modified directly from Mark at Massive Mods. With the USD to AUD exhange rate, you will be getting a great modified engine for a really good price.
