Here's a pic of the Eb M5 mounted in Kendall's Mp9. He just made the wrap last week, he's going to college for Graphic design. Notice the mudguard skins.

Hey MM, how about posting a part number for the turbo head
button that's made for the .25 and also let us know who has
them in stock?

I never like the Rb/Nova turbo plugs in the .21's. I think they were a little cool for the compression the Go's come stock.

Hey all, I have a little issue.. I have had my GO 7port.. for a long time now.. probally seen 3 gallons or so. Bear in mind havnt change anything like conrod ect.. It has been running flawlessly.. until the other weekend-Race meet Typical!.. When Sometimes, It would Idle.. fine.. nice steady Idle.. then give it some wheeley-On and off the box.. and It would want to run on.. none of the EPA hasa been changed or linkage. What could this be, air leak? Unlikely.. as I regularly check/Clean my engines. The one thing it could be but not sure, Is after inspecting my clutch shoes, 2 of the springs were totally dead.. I could put the choes on by hand.. and they swing about.. 1 was fine-I.E. Normall.

Could this exsplain it.. as when it's been going wot.. then the force, is keeping the 2 shoes biting on the Bell.. so It keeps running on? think after a while.. it then slowed down and idled again. To me, this seems like the problem.. I have orederd some new clutch shoes+Springs to try. As my Go is my backup engine/Put the milage on.. thanks in advanced..

GO parts availability.... is this going to get better in the future? I'm asking because I do like the engines but I've talk to more than a few folks who have said they like the engine itself but are dismayed by the delay (sometimes months) to get parts like con rods and what not. Is this the norm? Who is the US distributor? I noticed on Amain quite a few of the GO engine parts are on backorder for quite some time. Any thoughts?

Racefactor industries is the US dist. You have to understand how popular the engines are so yes the parts go quickly. But I have talked to Russel at Racefactor lately and he said he is in the process of up scaling everything so that the supply and demand can be met. Also if your in a pinch ask on here there are GO dealers on this thread. I am a driver for Racefactor and had to buy a rod off of 22racer, its okay I needed it. That just lets me know that GO TECH is gaining in popularity. Which they should be.

Good to hear they're ramping up, they need to do so quickly because nothing turns people off faster than not being able to get parts. Con rods seem to be the pain point, as we all know the pinch is tight and most will replace the rod at a couple of gallons to get a long life out of the engine. I still like Go, but I'll be keeping my eye on the parts availability before I drop my cash on a new 5-port.

From my one day of tuning my PTM 5 port I'm guessing it should go 10 minutes easy with the 086. Like you I ran the car for about 7 minutes and had 1/3 of a tank left. Keep in mind this was running it up and down my street tuning it too, lotsa WOT passes in that 7 minutes.

Russell invested quite a bit of time and $ in the Eb motors and probably got a little behind in the regular orders. A Novarossi rod would work if you had no other choice but they are 3 times the price. (probably a few guy's buying Go rods for there nova's too) I do know there is an order on it's way to Racefactor.

The order is in.

thanks,

Hey Patricio, our governing RC body here in NZ only allows .21 engines in truggy. You can run a bigger motor (.25, .28, .30) if it is factory installed and purchased with the truggy as a standard motor, but you must also run the pull start or roto start etc if fitted.
Once you remove the standard motor it must be replaced with nothing bigger than a .21 for racing.
A lot of guys here run the GO 5 Ports in their truggies and find they have ample power. They hold their own against Ninja, OS and anything else that comes along in the truggy ranks.
We had a few guys running the .28 motor in truggy just socially, and the 5 Port was pretty even, except for economy where it had it all over the bigger .28
