hi, i am thinking of getting a .28 GO.

just afew question, does the .28 comes with a Turbo head and why izit that the CARB will rotate and or come loose?

compare between .21 5port and .28 6port which is better for the 8T?

cheers.

the turbo head is still in testing and not available for retail yet...as for the 21-5 or the 28-6, i would go with the .28...this engine is very strong with mass bottom end, just what a truggy needs, but either way you go you will be very happy with the Go engines...

Never had a carb move like this before. I'll let you all know if the silicon does the trick.

As far as fuel mileage questions that people are asking, I saw something this weekend that blew my mind. I timed a fuel run for my buddy's car using a turbo 5 port and he went almost 13 minutes in a Losi 8ight with regular fuel tank. 12:52 to be exact. This was at 238 degrees.

Does anyone know if the fuel tanks on the RC8 are smaller than the 8ight? Cause I don't get that mileage with mine, LOL. I can go 9 minutes at similar temps, piped the same.

both cars have a 125cc tank, but even 9 minutes is outstanding...alot if it has to do with driving styles, even the outdoor temps can make a huge difference from day to day...

I ran my 7 port some today. It seems like it is tuned great after leaning it out some but everytime I hit it with the temp gun it wasn't abover 200. It was running in the 190s and it's acting like it doesn't want to be leaned out anymore. After I lean out the high end an hour or two it bogs at WOT and richening the low end didn't seem to help with the wot bog...the only thing that helped was richening the high end back to where it was. I still suck at tuning, I'm sure I'll get it sooner or later but maybe you guys can help me out some.

...I was using an OS p4 today but it acts the same with the p6

I haven't added any shims if that's what you mean. Are there extra shims installed from the factory?

I've been running 20% until I feel it's broken in good enough. It's still uber tight after 9 or 10 tanks.

the engine comes with an extra shim in the box...this extra shim is used during the break in to help with how tight the Go engines are...

I screwed the pooch on that one. I didn't get the manual with my motor though, so that doesn't help things.

I'll have to get that shim in there, it really needs it. I thought it was there to add if running 30%...
