SteveJa, I have one with about 2.5 gallons on it and it still has plenty of compression and runs really well. I just ran it yesterday and it did everything I wanted it too, it has a lot of power down low and spools up very fast plus it gets very good mileage. I came in after a 5min qualifer with a little more then half a tank with the stock 8mm venturi. I have found that the powerband is not as smooth as the 5 & 7 ports but that could be helped with more time playing with pipe and clutch combos.

press release:
Racefactor Industries driver Chris Pace put the power down in NC at the
annual fall nitro fest at the Farm II. Chris' Go 5port powered Losi put
a lap on the field in the expert buggy A-main. The engine gave him the
power to run with the best racers in the southeast and the economy was
letting him get away with 10 min. pit stops. So I wanted to give a big
thanks to Chris Pace for choosing Go engines this year.
Also a special thanks goes out to Brandon Melton who finished 2nd also
powered by a Go Tech 5port Turbo.
This only confirms what Go customers already know, that the engines can
run with the best on the market. This has been our first big win in the
U.S. and we only hope to continue in the future.
Thanks guys its been a great year and we plan to push harder next year.

What fuel are most of you Go Engine guys using? I'm currently using 30% Byrons race fuel but have been considering the switch to TQ Fuel. Can't wait for my Go .28, it should be here in a few days! It just so happens I'm in need of a gallon of fuel as well, so I figured now would be the perfect time to make a switch if I was going to do so. The price difference is 8 bucks though...not sure if it's worth that much or not. Also, which head shim should I be using with 30% fuel(or does it not matter)? If I'm not mistaken I think I read that there were 2 shims included with the engines.

Which online store has the biggest selection of GO engines......I have the 5 port......I know there`s a 7 port........and a .28,.26.and a sport .21.I recently seen a black headed .28.....Can some one tell me the diff between the black headed and the blue headed .28......I know that the red headed .28 is the pro.....the blue headed is the sport but whats the blackheaded.....I also read that some posted that there is a Pro 3 port is this true ...That would be awesome for one of the track`s here.......
The best pipe for me on the 5 port has been the 2060 or the 2050......I am wanting to try the novarossi 9886

Rossoh U.S. dist website racefactorindustries.com
Amain has the same selection as other stores but they carry more spares then other shops.
The black headed engine was early stock .28 and is not available in the U.S.
Yes the cat is out of the bag the factory is currently working on a 3port race engine. There is no release date set yet and it is still being tested. Early reports suggest that this engine will rip and will also be a little cheaper then the 5port engine.

They make a pro 3 port. I thought they just started shipping the sport 3 port with a backplate in place of the pullstart?
