Gen Reaper, Sorry I really meant to say that I haven't seen a black head engine other than a prototype, Not that there never has been one.

there is only one other go tech engine that i would like to give a shot, and thats the .25, but before i do im gonna stuff the Go .18 into a race revo to see if i can beat up on some .18TZ's...if the number claims of the .18 prove true there is gonna be a new revo engine to contend with...however if the .18 doent pull the revo hard enough then its time to pop a Go .25 into the revo...

^you should just go straight to the .25 for some wheely popping action

:D

well this truck is not a basher, its a racer...also if i were to run the .18 i can stay in the small block class...

2 Gallons down the line and i need a new piston liner :weird:

RB coming my way!

Rocket42 11-11-2007 08:16 AM

Sorry to hear that Andrew, what happened to the sleeve

Andrew_Carter 11-11-2007 10:34 AM

By the looks of it a chunk of the bottom of it has just snapped off and shatterd, very weird.Any reason why this may of happend?

Rocket42 11-11-2007 10:38 AM

Andrew are you saying that a chunk of the sleeve broke off, I would send that engine to your local distributor, they should replace it for you for free. I can't see any reason how that could happen.

Andrew_Carter 11-11-2007 10:58 AM

Yep which then shatterd into 1000s of pices and locked my engine,it turns now after a clean up.

The UK distributor pretty much has a get out clause,if its 2 gallons old he will say i havent ran it in propley,if its 4 gallons old its a race engine and thats all it last for,but worth a try i gess.
