And I told them that I did my research before buying 1 and that this over 100 page thread was here swearing by them. Then 1 of the guys told me that everybody who talkes Go mills up works for Go tech or is affiliated in some way with them, I was like yeah right why cant someone have quality products at good prices. I just wanted to tell my expierence today and to say like I always say "there will always be HATERS"
We get that a bit at my local track. Everyone using more exspensive motors sort of look down on the Go-Techs as a beginners or bashers motor. Funny how the Go-Techs end up on the podium a fair percentage of the time eh ;) I'm fairly new to this game and I can't see the need for me to spend big dollars on a "name" brand motor, when the Go-Techs perform so well. Sounds like sour grapes to me  |
0801 pipe
lockmouth, I am scheduled to have the 0801 pipes this coming Wednesday.

Great motors for the price can't beat that any where i will have one soon as a back up
|
I dont know if this has been asked before.
But everyone in U.S.A talks about the 0801 Go pipe , in Australia our Go dealer MassiveMods has the 8081 Go pipe. Are these different pipes? Seems strange that everyone started talking about these new Go pipes at the same time yet their numbers are different. |
same thing here will g ,everytime i use the ttr2035 i need to re-tune ,(lean bog issue) the 3R doesnt like the pipe,we raced yesterday i tried the ofna 053 ,damn i dont even need to touch anything ,this time i feel the BOTTOM-END power LOL, 1st heat it temp. about 217 so this time i need to lean the hsn , so i m thinking to try the 053 header to 2035 pipe ,next time i will let you know ,053 it seems ok but i need da top-end part on 140 ft. straight................almost 2 gals. on this 3R,n i would say WOW! i feel the power ,i need to slow it down on the throttle LOL,& da interesting part i used da 7mm restrictor , EXCELLENT RUN TIME....................

I would just like to say. I just bought my Go-Tech 7 port turbo and I am very pleased. No one could touch it. Even those shitty brushless buggies that were previously kicking everyones ass. I stomped them like they were standing still. I would recomend this motor to anyone over those high price italian motors.

TTREB4 get the 3 port race, the reason I say that because what you are running you dont need any more than that or if you want get the 7port.

Has anyone tried a Go Technology 7port piston, sleeve and rod an a Novarossi P5X or P5 Plus engine?

LARGER RACES, are they kidding me Goerge Drake AKA T Mizz used PTM 5 port in buggy and PTM .25 in truggy at the nitro blast and made the A main in both Pro Classes, over 330 entries. Corey Johnson, ran a PTM .25 at the truggy nats and was in the top 24, the TOP 24 Kevin Stevenson AKA Voodo, ran a PTM 5 port from last year and made the A main in Pro Truggy at the nitro blast, 330 entries Jeremy Newsome, was in the A main up untill the last round of qualifying before having chassis problems using a PTM 5 port at the nitro blast 330 entries Chris Pace is running GO engines at the WORLDS, last i recall, this is a large race. people look at these engines as cheap, and OMG they have had carb issues, i look at it this way, i will always run these engines untill they stert giving me internal parts issues, which i have never had, yes there have been carb issues, yes they are kicking themselves in the ass to make sure this is resolved, and from what i am running or team drivers are running, they are solid, the new carbs are great. Slam dunk time, how many people do you see running os nr, the biggest thing i hear about these engines is, QUOTE i am sick of spending over $300 and getting 4 gallons on my engine end quote, the rod is done after 3 gallons, the engine is brand new and i havn't even sterted it and i am told to replace the rear bearing, and you have to put it in backwords, replace the rod after a gallon. I wiull spend $209 on a GO befor i spend $300+ on a engine that has issues befor it even starts, and if i need a new or different carb for the GO, still less than the others. Yes, i am affiliated with GO, through RACEFACTOR IND, and OMG do you think there are not people the same way with NR,OS,Ex Tech. It's called a TEAM people, this is our JOB, this is what i do 7 days a week, other guys spend just as much time doing the same thing, i sure as hell don't get engines for free, i have to buy my engines to, but why do i buy GO engines. simply put, i believe in them, that they are a solid product, like others they may have a small issue, and unlike alot of threads i see, myself and otheres are hear to help with anything, i run myself ragged to help, and other threads someone will tell you just to buy another brand, with no resolve to the problem. WE ARE JACKS PAIN IN HIS ASS, and they now it. I'm Brian Carey, and i approve this message |

Every Go motor that I have seen does not last very long, flames, and does not hold a tune. I just got back from rc pro seies race in OK in peeps were having hell with them. I just told them we all went down that road ONCE. The one guy we race with that seemed to get his to work uses a rb carb.
