You can use the M2C clutch and flywheel on the Go engines, I have used them for over a year, you will need to shim between the front bearing and the collet, or cone washer if you will, just make sure you get the right size, I think it's 7 or 8 mm ID, and you want it to ride on the inner bearing race and the base of the collet, check the thickness, usually it will take about a 3mm shim, just enough so it does not rub.

GENERAL RULE OF THUMB all Go Engines base settings are HSN and LSN Flush which is a base starting point.

I bought an M2C set up in Atl. at the PNB....it would not work on my 5P in my OCM. I talked to the guy after that and he told me it wouldn't work on the Go engines. Maybe it was just in the OCM. To get the flywheel skirt off the crankcase required alot of shims....then the outside clutch bearing was halfway past the end of the crank.

Yeah I saw that one. But I want to stay below $200 for engine and pipe. By the time I get my buggy built the season here is almost over. 2 months of racing.

But just a fyi. What is a good pipe for that one?

Just make sure before you order it because I have been told from where I order my motors that the sport motors are pullstart. It even says on my pricing sheet non pullstart for that motor but just going buy what I was told. If it does come with a bumpstart, cool! I am going to find out about it for myself and see if it is true. If so I will order a couple.

hey guys just wanted to let you know i finaly got to run my ptm .21 3 port race engine on the track last night and was very pleased. although i got a major lean bog on bottom after couple mins running. i then figured out that for some reason it just did not like my pipe i was running. i originally had the go 2047 and it kept choking the motor on bottom so i went back to good old faithful dyn 053 and it ran awesome. temped around 250-260 man i was very happy after that. thnx brian and ptm im very happy with the engine. thnx will g

Piston Clip

I was happy with my GO 7 Port until the bearing retainer clip apparently flew out and bounced around in the engine, destroying it in the process. What causes that and how can I prevent that in the future? Pissed!:flaming::mad::flaming::mad:

As I said before I just ordered my 1st PTM Go 5 port. A couple other guys at my local track just got some Go's themselves and the older guys at the track were trying to tell me that these mills werent equal to some of the more pricey mills and thats why you dont see them too much at any larger races. And I told them that I did my research before buying 1 and that this over 100 page thread was here swearing by them. Then 1 of the guys told me that everybody who talkes Go mills up works for Go tech or is affiliated in some way with them, I was like yeah right why cant someone have quality products at good prices. I just wanted to tell my expierence today and to say like I always say "there will always be HATERS"
