Seattle RC Racers/Hangar 30

Assuming my skills improved as much as I think they have and I don't continue to wreck my "scale spec" Novice car, I'm actually thinking of picking up an F1. I loved watching and marshaling that class last season, so perhaps I'll be a +1 for the entry count.
I can definitely make Saturdays, and I can probably make Wednesdays if I prep for it. I work in South Lake Union, so that's pretty close even with traffic.

Re: F1. I absolutely can't do Wednesdays. My drive from to Vancouver, wa is 2.75 hours.
My son and I both have SS so it would be desirable if SS and F1 race on the same day.
I plan to make one trip every month to Seattle race this winter.

F1 on rubber is the only way to go!
Price of tires , rules for roar TCS and everything in between.
Oh the idea of chunking tires is not what I want to deal with.
Jesse is right with everyone between work and living so far away.
I hope F1 will stay on Saturdays.

I don't see why we can't run F1 (A LEGIT class now), and WGT on Saturday.... We did it last year and it was fine. Peeps just need to be ready to go when your class is called. We can do it.

We are going to stick to that rule this year. We let it slide last year and although difficult to tell someone who travel some distance to race with us, uh sorry, you can't run, we have to be fair to all and stick the rules. Be prepared, it will be 5 minimum to make a class. I hope we don't end up not having enough for any class this season.

Which classes are in danger of not meeting the "5 minimum" requirement? Is it just F1 and WGT? If so, it wouldn't be too difficult to start some "I'll be there" threads for each. That way, each week racers in those classes could commit to showing up Saturday, and people living far away won't waste their precious time driving up/down here just to be told they can't race. A little organization could save a lot of disappointment. ![Nodding](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/nod.gif)

For a wednsday race I would be surprised to see F1 happen at all, the vast majority of the group simply have other obligations and/or distance issues that prevent it from being feasible. WGT is likely to be be spotty on any night with featuring both stock and mod 12th.

I live/work too far away to make it mid week and get home early enough to be productive the next morning.

Does anyone know what tires will be legal for Mod Sedan this coming season? Will they be the same as last year, or will there be different/new options?
Thanks a bunch!
