Is there a more complete version of the rules than what's posted on the site at http://seattlercracers.com/specsrules/? I remember last season there was a PDF available for download but don't see that for this season.

edit: I went back about a dozen pages and found what I was looking for (sort of). WGT has a spec tire but not so for 1/12th. Sooo.... Anybody have a decent RC12R5 setup to share (post, PM, whatever)? It'd make tire shopping easier.

Pink rear, double pink front was a good place to be last year....with a CRC car at least. Get used to hauling a variety of tires around for 1/12, and experimenting a little. You're going to hear a lot of different opinions from the resident fast dudes. Emulate them as much as possible.

I just puckered in my pants watching that.

FYI the 3D glasses for Avitar didn't work with that video, although what a great preview....now on to the blue people.

Hi all,

Considering some touring on the 8th. It's been about six months since I've raced on-road so I just need to get my car up to date.

1. Tires: Are these "Sweep QTS 32" tires for sale at the track? What about wheels? And just to clarify, can I no longer run the Jaco Blue's from last season?
2. ESC: No dynamic timing? I have a mamba max pro esc. Not roar approved yet, but the latest firmware has a blinking LED showing no dynamic timing advance.

Thanks!

Hey Zach!

Sweep QTS 32's are the tire for the season. They are an affordable, reliable tread. We will have them available at the hangar this Wednesday and again on the 19th at a very reasonable $26 for the set of premounts.

Stock Touring: no ESC timing. You have it right. The Mamba Max Pro is on the ROAR list, provided you have the current software with the Sportsman mode. It sounds like you do. You're good to go.

Great to hear you're coming back.

I think we were rolling about 80~85mm if I remember correctly. Can't remember the exact size tire but mine were probably a tad bigger than say what Brian B. ran. With no timing however, we will be running bigger like maybe 100mm.
