+1 on the heads up starts. Teaches drivers to keep there cool on the first lap then after that it's on like Donkey Kong.

Default Track Layout Proposal

Here is an original layout... I guess from an accomplished touring newb.

It's intended to be a fast layout that makes the most use of the space.

Straight-sweeper-spiral-reverse sweeper-slalom-switchback... say that five times fast.

-Zach F.

Edit: Just as I was looking through the other proposals, its happens to be remarkably similar to Todd's. ahh well... this has more straight edges instead of curves.

Default T2'009 for sale

I just put my XRAY T2'009 up on the Northwest FOR SALE! thread. PM me if you are interested.

I'll bring it to H30 tomorrow night. If not sold by the end of the night, I'll take offers from people out of the area.

Left side is like mine, too. So if you win, me and Todd will split the prize!

(Seriously, though, that's an awesome layout.)

My newest layout. For those days that the Panda acts up. Uses the green that is so popular and makes finding positions for marshals fairly easy.

Thumbs up

I like Canyon's last layout the best, but it is seriously lacking in cowbell... But seriously, we should consider being the first carpet on road track in the PNW with elevation changes.

Back to my unmanned glass...

k
that just sounds like too much work.

I'm just hoping we get a layout the encourages some mod 1/12.

So are you stepping up to mod with the right layout?

so, seriously where are at with this, seems todd's, Randoggy's and the vegas layout are tops so far, (or am i wrong). i also believe that kody has a valid point of a layout change at some point. once you have prefabed parts, assembling them in a different order shouldn't be that big a deal, nor should adding or removing a piece here and there.

When deciding on a a layout for the new carpet, keep in mind the up coming NWIC race and ask yourselves if you plan on putting down a fresh layout or not. if not come up with the best overall layout now and stick to it and run the NWIC on it.

I won't be in town for the vote so thats my input on the subject.

carpet racing at NORCAL tomorrow night.
