There are a couple bumps in the floor which add to the character of the layout. The traction is great. You can really drive them hard.

Mine's ready to go and I will toss it in the box!

Thanks I dont have a car yet but was looking for a simple class that I could swap stuff from a carpet oval car. Im trying to get back into RC and always liked carpet oval more than anything. Thanks for the response.

He then picks the pieces up after corner #2. Rinse and repeat until I can drive an entire heat without pieces having to be picked up. Then he won't be so worried every night he has to set the car up for me before a race. Thanks Brian!
You need to join Team Lence, as this is the very way we treat our racers, with one little catch. Brian's cars run much better.

Aren't there some carpet oval cars you could convert to WGT by changing the chassis plate? Would that be a super cheap way in?

1/12th 17.5 + Brian = LOTS OF FUN

I can't believe how much fun it was last night. First I just wanted to say BIG BIG BIG thanks to Slapmaster6000.

Amazing to add Kyle to the class welcome.

GUS was up a whole lap in very large novice class running the Kid's ARC R10. Then he snapped my red neck chassis that I killed a few races ago. (I will finally need to replace it this time. Or maybe i can try epoxy lol)

I was able to finish all three TC 17.5 races without breaking anything, a real joy.

MAX Went from a 32 lap to a 36 lap run from all the tuning and setup that he did on Max's car. He put on a real tuning class.

I should also note that Brian really went out of his way to even cut and paint out a better body, fix the front end, and even put Max's car on the tweek station.

I had my best lap of the new layout at 10.4, and am only about .5 sec off the pace now. But i still need to learn to focus and not kill my car in the wall and keep more speed during the turns . (New Trinity 24K got me below 11, fixing my front springs, by removing the gap, got me below 10.5)

Our Reedy Sonic 2's are great and strong motors but the 24K is just faster. geared 54 / 72 42 inch tires 25% of timing, i was flying, + the motor was only 140 degrees after a full 8 minutes.

Max had an 11.1 which is a big improvement. (Maybe i should give him the KO?)

We are booked on the 2nd, so I will see all of you back on the 13th.

This is just way to fun.

I was looking at buying some better springs for my ARC R10 2015 cars with standard (long) shocks.

Kody noted to use yokomo pinks in front and blue in back.

I found the springs at amain, and just wanted to make sure these are the right ones

Soft
Black: 6.0 coils/1.4mm wire (YOKYS-1460L)
Blue: 5.75 coils/1.4mm wire (YOKYS-14575L)
Yellow: 5.5 coils/1.4mm wire (YOKYS-1455L)
Purple: 6.75 coils/1.5mm wire (YOKYS-1567L)
Pink: 6.5 coils/1.5mm wire (YOKYS-1565L)
Green: 6.25 coils/1.5mm wire (YOKYS-15625L)
Orange: 6.0 coils/1.5mm wire (YOKYS-1560L)
Hard

Should i just order a set of pink and a set of blue, or are there other ones as listed above that i may find as a better place to start?

Many Thanks.

Yep, those are the ones. I typically use Pink and Blue when traction is lower at the beginning of the night and move to Yellow and Black when I'm close to traction roll. Car is a little easier to drive with the Yellow and Blacks too. Scale spec you can almost get away with Yellow and Blacks all the time...almost...

I am in! Lots of Xmas goodies to try out

On another note, does the club need another/extra vacuum for either track? My wife and I got a new one, but our old one still works perfectly and we don't need two.

Check with Kyle at the Hangar. I know we have two at the CC. I get them all the time left behind from residents. I refurbish them and bring them to track.

Brian is right on. We can definitely use one at the hangar. Thank you, Ryan!
