Mike I'm kinda with you. If it turns into that it will start to become a cluster and the fun for some will be lost. We will have to see. Looking at last year and this summer racing not sure its going to be a problem. But who knows right!

I kept touring cars at 8 per, for qualifying.

I don't like to call a crashfest any more than I like to drive one.

What you can expect is absolute ruthlessness about getting the heats off on time. Drivers from the heat before put their cars on the table conveniently located next to the stand and go to their marshal stations.

The rounds are more than long enough to wrench, charge, chat, and get to the stand without going ballistic. The nights will not be rush-rush, but we all have to hit our marks when it's our time.

2 minutes. Be ready

2. World GT is back. Show up and race it.
3. We've added a new tire to Scale Spec. The Gravity RC USGT premount. It's an excellent, durable tire on cool looking rims (3 choices). And they sell for $24 per set. Budget!

Our hard cutoff for the night remains midnight.

There were other items, but those are the big ones for those looking for a quick hit of good news.

Our first race is September 26. That's Saturday night at the gym. Start wrenching!

I know I missed my chance to chime in on this at the meeting, but as i remember the F-1 following was considerably larger than the WGT following. WGT is a incredibly fun car to drive.. (at least Brians is). if it gets to be to crazy and both classes have a decent turnout, remembering our 2am - 3am finish times from 2yrs ago, would we cut a class or alternate between wgt and f-1. or limit people to 1 class entry on nights that are very busy?

I don't know what we will do.

We will deal with what happens as it happens.

Very happy to hear f1 is back on the program. I will be there as much as I can.

Fun fact this coincides with the release of a new vbc f1 kit
The Lightning FX!
Looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to get my hands on one

Can you guys point me in the right direction for specific class rules, including what the spec tires are for your program? I'm mostly interested in scale spec and stock 1/12 scale. Thanks.

return WGT to its glory days with a 10.5 or 17.5 boosted and the class may have a larger turn out.

just my opinion

Wgt is also 10.5 in Canada. May produce more cross over drivers

Your website says the stock 1/12 spec tire is "purple stripe" ... What exactly are these? Are they front and rears, and what brand are they? Thanks!

CRC, fronts and rears. BSR also makes them. Same wheel, same foam, black wheel instead of white.

They're awesome, Chad, and they work great on both of our tracks and wear like iron. You won't have to worry about what tire to pick if you come race with us.

I really enjoy the 10.5 option, Ritchie. We race it up in Canada at the Chill and Victoria.

In no way to suggest that you don't know your stuff, just that you may be very pleased with the combo of a dialed in 13.5 and a current high capacity battery. I'll go so far as to say it will rival the 10.5 package we raced 4 years ago.
