you can use the same gear diff oils used in regular pan car damper tubes. The tamiya greases are approximately 20k for soft, 50k medium and 100k for hard.

on my f104 roll damper i use 10K on carpet tracks. If you still have the regular 104 damper discs use a light coating of ball diff grease. I coat my kingpins with tamiya heavy. The tamiya branded stuff is still available, its just hard to find. If you would prefer to use the tamiya stuff I have some you can use.

Does anyone have a Novak BOSS 25.5 for sale that I could buy at the CC tomorrow? Kody?

Or at least the sensor board endbell assembly (http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-...vs5942/p192435)?

Let's just say that adjusting the sensors isn't for everyone

Adam, I'll bring my SS motor. You can borrow it.

I may still have the one we smoked at the enduro, in which case you're welcome to take the sensor assembly.

RonF, I think I have a Tekin RS esc you can have if you're looking to go brushless.

I am hoping to bring 2 to 4 racers for novice tonight. We have our own loaner cars this year.

Max is going to homecoming clear up in Port Ludlow, so half of our 1/12th 17.5 team will be missing.

But overall it should be a strong start to the season by Team Lence, and if we are the whole novice class, maybe we can even walk away with a win.

Aww, thank you gentlemen, that would save my race night! A sensor board swap should do the trick for the evening, then it's all about driving clean... I mean, what could go wrong, right?

Ron, I have a spare Thunder Power 21.5 with me most of the time (ran only a few times), you can borrow it and see if you like it in your F1 (if you get the Tekin ESC from Mike). Just ask around for Adam (bushy beard, big ears), people will point you to me

Default 2015-2016 CC October 10 Results

A tremendous opening to the 2015-2016 season at the Magnuson Community Center. By far our largest first-race turnout, with 80 entries across 13 heats. Even subtracting the classes we added back, F1 and WGT, we crushed the numbers from previous seasons. Chalk it up to depth in touring cars, racers joining us from Oregon and Canada, and an influx of novices. All three of our 4wd classes were full, as racers took to our 4-roll 100' indoor track in the gym.

With the big numbers comes a feeling of elation, but also of unease. We've been here before. After a season of lower turnouts, but also earlier outs, we are reminded what comes with the big nights and big fields. More work and AM exits for the core race crew. So please stay for teardown if you can. It makes a huge difference to have the extra hands for teardown. With enough hands it's a 30-minute job.

I'll call out a couple standout drives. Matt Adkison in Scale Spec was other-side-of-the-pillow as he challenged a tough Donny and wrestled away the win. Matt was solid all night and it's good to see him back after missing him most of last season. The sheet says otherwise, but Jake won Modified Touring after a back and forth battle with Korey and Andrew. Jake's transponder had last lap issues, but he was the clear winner, acknowledged by all. That said, sort out your transponder Jake! It won't always be so obvious, and in a closer final lap, it will be the transponder that declares the winer.

We are racing at the Hangar on Wednesday. Join us in the afternoon if you can to build a new layout. We'll fire off practice at 5 and Q1 at 7.

Results attached.

Matt's patience in traffic while trying to keep his lead over a charging Donny was especially good. Well done!
