Default Formula 1 RC Northwest

Since the F-1 class was dropped from the Magnusson center I started looking for alternatives to have a venue to run our beloved class and establish a permanent F-1 home for the winter season.

NORA under new management has open its doors to F-1, both as a permanent club class and for the first Formula – 1 RC NW Championship. We are very happy!

Now the big challenge, as always is on on-road, is to have enough racers to make it worth the club and support the class.

Please help us keep F-1 going in the North West and come have fun at NORA with us, the calendar is set for seven F-1 special format races with 15 minute mains! Pit stops! and more for us to enjoy.

Click here for calendar, race info and home website

Click here to see a lap and images of NORA new layout

But that’s not all, I’ve already started talks and have agreements whit Bremerton RC track and Joe’s Fasttrax to host the F-1 RC NW Summer series, so rest assure we will always have a class, a series and a venue in the North West to run our Formula – 1 cars.

Click here to view and download the flyer for the NORA winter series, please send it to your friends if you can drop it by your local Hobby Store, so together we can spread the word and have a fabulous F-1 RC Winter and Summer series.

Thanks you for your support!

This is so awesome! I am going to do my best to make these events. Saturdays are tough for me but I'll do what I can.

Don't forget that we always welcome the F-1's on the oval friday night. ( it takes three to make the class) But for you guys that want to come from out of town and stay the night make it a Friday night Saturday race that maybe a idea.
Can't wait to have you guys.

I used to have that same paint scheme. It was a good look but wasn't UF1 legal so I had to ditch it.

Why not? As I recall in the UF1 rules the livery is optional and the body rule only states that "post 2002 body's are preferred" (ie F104 Pro and after) but not exclusive. The car has to be under 190mm but a F103 body is OK

I was one of the dudes that started UF1 in California with Charles Ligthfoot. Good times we had.

Do you know how much money I had to pay to get that race cancelled???
Just for the privilege of having you with us on the inaugural GP

It's ON!

See you tomorrow guys!

We missed you

- Alex P. took the day with TQ and most laps of the day

- Fastest lap went to Mark T. a whooping 9.6! just like the mod sedans

Cheers!

Sorry I couldn't make it. With the GP and then the can am challenge and holidays its been pretty hard to take a day off to drive almost 4 hours to race. I'm still going to try to at least make 1 event maybe 2 if I am lucky.
