Very sad, cannot make it, to many conflicts tomorrow night. See you all on the 26th. My only question is, what is the racing fee if both Max and I run two classes? 17.5 1/12th and TC. Is it still $25.00 or does it go up with more classes?

Race fees stay the same, this year.

$15 per class, $25 family.

As family, $25 buys one class per every family member in attendance. A great bargain for the Brady Bunch!

Each additional class is $15 per, just like anyone else.

So, dad and son (one of the two a dependent ), two classes each will be $25 plus $15 plus $15. That's $55 by my math.

Fair enough. So after processing your refunds for 2 years of racing, then factoring in your past-due balance to the "wow, that that would make a sailor blush" jar, I'd say that puts you owing the club about $193.82. We accept PayPal, cash and personal checks as long as they are cosigned by your dad.

See you tonight!

Hi Todd and Guys,

Regarding the F-1 class, I sent Todd a list with the names of 16 drivers who mostly have been racing at Galaxy/TCS this summer and are very interested in running the class in winter.

As I mentioned in my letter to Todd, the class to a hit last year because people sold their cars thinking there was no venue to race. When we organized Mt .Vernon it was a little too late but still we got some attendance (the usual hardcore F-1 dudes).

I won’t be able to make it to your cub meeting tonight, so in response to Todd’s post I reiterate the interest we all have expressed to run at Magnusson.

Thinking out of the box, maybe you only want to have F-1 once a month in your schedule? Then I could see if we have another F-1 club race at Mt. Vernon to alternate – just a thought for you guys to consider.

Hoping to hear good news from you.
Cordially,

Marcos Wanless

Hope it can fit in

Default Tonight's meeting

Afraid I cannot make the meeting because of distance and work but want to give my quick thoughts. As much as I want wgt to come back I think it should be left the way it was. Things moved quickly and we got out at a decent time. Would be a shame to mess that up.

I felt the evening was over to quickly. It's nice to go to an event that lasts longer when your drive time is over 2 hours each way.

We held our club meeting last night. Some major items to report back.

1. Formula 1 is back on the program. Show up and race it.
2. World GT is back. Show up and race it.
3. We've added a new tire to Scale Spec. The Gravity RC USGT premount. It's an excellent, durable tire on cool looking rims (3 choices). And they sell for $24 per set. Budget!

Our hard cutoff for the night remains midnight.

There were other items, but those are the big ones for those looking for a quick hit of good news.

Our first race is September 26. That's Saturday night at the gym. Start wrenching!

(yxesgib: ye who shall not be named for fear of immediate banning Are you plotting a return? Say it is so!)
