mugen spring is more shorter than G4S.. so shock adjustment must be more compressed than G4S's
i did same Knack Shock length setup with G4S Shock length.
i expect the light will be changed to Red when Battery is low..
But it is only my Quess

now the li-po setup, i have concerns about the whole thing. last meet i ran the new G4+ and i encountered a problem that will always be in my mind. steering was tight and drained the battery quickly. now i am using the VXR reg 5amp, yes when the battery is low the red light comes on. at which point it is like cutting the battery wires off. i doesnt keep a supply of power to allow the failsafe to come in. it just plain cutts off all power to the reciever. now i was lucky enough to just be past idle, but if i was full throttle , then you know the end result

GBagRacing , you can also use the 3racing g4 roll bar. It's almost the same.
That is what i have in mine and it works well.

I'm using the the battery that fits into my E-Flite LAMA heli! it the only battery that fits decent! least amount of cutting of the radio tray!

this is my Li-Po Battery... E-SKY.. it maybe Chinese product.
and you must cut off upper-dect to put Li-Po Battery
and... i fixed the battery by shoe-goo

Thats why the batts i got seem a bit big.
I have 1800mah lipo want to rather have some capacity in reserve.

Regarding LiPo; When fully charged a 2 cell pack will measure 8.2 volts +.
It will not drop much under the loads applied. Most receivers will handle that no problem. Many servos will not. Many get by without the reg. But you are gambling. Highly recomend the use of a regulator.
Another thing to consider is heat. LiPo packs will fail if they get over 140 degrees F. I lost one this season after making up a brass holder. Brass holder was attached directly to chassis and conducted heat from the engine. In a long race, chassis gets pretty warm (especially when track temps reach over 140 degrees). Keep it insulated from the chassis and you will be OK.

Or are the rear shorter than TM, also ?
#7979
But i did not like it.. i felt front shock was fall down
mugen rear(long) spring is longer than TM's
i am using mugen spring in front shock..
and serpent spring in rear shock.

you are right!!!!
i checked my NIMH battery Volt after big crash in yesterday..
the battery volt was 6.2V.
when battery volt was under 6.0V, maybe my throttle servo was stopped.
i tested US Specktrum in long time ago.
heavy servo activity(about 30-40 secs).. i could see steering servo did bad working.
so i can quess this..
when battery is under 6VOLT.
1. US specktrum: steering servo do bad working.(random work)
2. sanwa(airtronic) specktrum: stopped Throttle servo activity.

This is something I do without fail and twice it has saved my car. I've been using the Spektrum on my M8 Airtronics/Sanwa system since the very first spetrum unit was available for it and never had glitches (maybe I'm lucky) other than the battery running below 6v ... interestingly, both time with my VXR LiPo set. Maybe I need to get a better charger with balancer for it.
