Question for lippo packs.
Does anyone have a part # or a pack that fits the g4s? I want to see what the cost is to transfer over to lipo. I know nothing about batteries by the way so sorry for looking like a complete idiot on the subject.
I saw a venom pack on tower hobbies but not sure if this is the right thing:

Regulator and 800mAh Li-Po.
Fits nicely into the arear where the stock battery fits.
You wont be able to use the stock battery mount and you will also have to dremel a little from the top deck. (I would dremel towards the front of the deck to make it fit.
Where you put the regulator is a personal choice. I put mine on the transponder mount. Run the connecting wires to the battery along the top of the top-deck. Have the wires from the battery come out from the top of the deck. Then they fit nicely to the reg'.
You may have to cut down the reg' wires as they are a little long and fit a connector to fit the battery connector.
Don't make the mystake I made...!... one day, in a rush I plugged the Li-Po charger in to the battery and started to charge, only to realize I was charging it through the regulator!!!
That ruined the regulator in a rush.!!

i have the helios with spektrum i have radio problems as well on one part of the track the throtle servo goes dead and normal flat into the poly pipe....
i have canged batterys servos still every now an then it goes ....
usely into my 3 heat its starts playing up then if i top my battery up no problems........my battery 6.8 volts and 6.2 under load is that normal??

Ideally, I would also get a balncer. But you don't really need one.

Gansei, quick rebuild there , glad to see.
now the li-po setup, i have concerns about the whole thing. last meet i ran the new G4+ and i encountered a problem that will always be in my mind. steering was tight and drained the battery quickly. now i am using the VXR reg 5amp, yes when the battery is low the red light comes on. at which point it is like cutting the battery wires off. i doesnt keep a supply of power to allow the failsafe to come in. it just plain cutts off all power to the reciever. now i was lucky enough to just be past idle, but if i was full throttle , then you know the end result

i found front shock was broken.. so i fixed it..

the end of backstraight (right wall).. is my G4S broken place!!
i tested Li-Po with Sanwa Specktrum.. and there are no problem!!
