hmmm.....I don't think that any motor manufacturers let alone people who modify motors replace them when they go bang.

I can almost guarantee you that a modified GS15R will have a very short life span, just look at the crank pin size compared to say a novarossi, it's about 1/2 the size. Modify a motor = more revs= pop !

I can assure you though that I can get your motor to go a whole lot better though, and I don't even reckon I'd need to port it.

Cheeky little shit!

Re steering servos;
You need the best combination of both that you can afford, firstly the cars steering only moves as quick as the servo lets it however imagine the force applied to that servo when the vehicle is in a tight turn or a sweeper, if there isnt sufficient torque the servo will not hold position and youll lose your line, I had that prob when i first went novarossi and foams on the S and it had me stuffed! It was actually AMG Racer that put me onto the possible cause, it was that dramatic that i would have sworn i was getting my freq clobbered.
As amg said to me, You spend $1000 plus on a car and all youve got to keep it on the road is a $25 servo.......go figure!

Hey V-One S Racer, are you getting full throttle with your GS15R engine with the top deck?

I still haven't. Man i really need to buy a new larger servo horn, so lazy.

Re ported manifolds

This is one i did ages ago and put on the nova, The theory is to make the passage that the exhaust gasses travel as obstruction free as possible, unfortunately you cant see where the major work in this one is which is on the backside of the flange.

so basically instead of it being square to the block, angle the edges to allow more in with less obstruction?

If the exhaust gases hit a flat or obstructing surface it creates turbulence which is going to slow the speed at which those gases can leave the combustion chamber. What your doing is creating a less resistant path for them to follow.
