I ask that cos the traction difference between foam and rubber is amazing. Then combine that with the step-up from a stock engine to a 1hp plus engine and the forces acting on the servo are unbelievable, but to really notice the difference youve got to drive a car with a quick servo, it really is the difference between driving and having to think seconds ahead all the time.

This may be a stupid question, and it most probably is.... but can you use a digital servo with an AM Radio?

Yes you can, but it is only gonna be as fast as the transmitter and receiver unit that its being used with, so your probably not going to benefit much.

can i see some pics of the modded engine squizzy or sp?

i wasnt gunna do anything drastic.. i wasnt planning on touching the port timing ... just planning on smoothing out the flow of gases till it gets to the port

and does anyones GS-15R have holes in the crank? like at the end where the crank pin is?

i read on SP's website that there is 2 different types of crankshafts you can get

yep, got them, thanks....I really want to see what they do with the 5 port, as it's the one I have, but other than that it looks like just a minor trim on the crankshaft, polish and clean up on the transfer ports...

I HATE KYOSHO

Fu(ken 18$ for 1 puny bearing, what a rip off.
Thats wat dawn trading is selling the 12*18*4mm bearing at
wat a bloody rip off

they use wierd ass sizes so u cant get the bearing from n e were.
cept from a bearing shop, specially made, and then they end up at 18$ a bearing in the shop

bloody hell its a rip off

so if u ever brake a couple of bearings, buy a new car.

Nitro dave: How much u want for the new pads?

Oh yeah, i now got the car running allright on the blocks, dont know how it will go on the track, hopefully better then last meet.

i oiled and cleaned all the bearings in the car from the main shaft back. god how a good clean in 2-stroke fuel makes the spin a lot better.

just need to tune my engine on the track now

it was too late to throw it out on the road to tune it.

How bizzare, I buy mine (including that size) from frontline hobbies for $2 each! In fact I keep around 6 of every size in my spares box!

...just rember, Dawn Trading didn't design the VoneS, and you'd be silly to buy genuine Kyosho bearings, most reputable bearing shops should be able to get those heaps cheaper than $18!
