I already am... from ear to ear... But I feel bad to be in such a good mood... My baby failed her driver's yesterday, but the only reason is that the instructor could not find anything wrong, so he tricker her into going through a NO-Entry, she questioned and he still said , no, go there... bugger.

I have started building the starter box, using some loctite on the metal to metal contact screws. I must admit, looking at the quality of the packaging, and the parts, SERPENT has put a lot of time into ensuring that this machine is enough to impress even the most skeptical of people, you can just feel it and see it when you open the box.

Here are some pics of the track I will race on... watched a couple of guys run on sunday, but they were electric, so it was a little boring...

Last one...

I must say, it is longer than I originally thought. I was hoping that there would be lights from the parking lot on the track to allow me to run at night, but sadly no... but at least I will soon be able to run in the day, when I quit my job and build my business full time. must just cover salary.

You might be right, they may well be from Hong Kong. When I first saw them I was told they were from Japan ...

Frankly, I was not too keen on their performance but that's a personal preference

Phew! That looks really long but also a world class loking track.

Is that a club or a public track Baxter?

It's a club track, it belongs to the hobby shop in the shopping centre. This is a parking lot track, but is a permanent fixture. I like it actually. I think RC-Mushroom were sooo happy, they sent me the 4 pit towels I ordered, even though it said one towel per order... I tried my luck, and all 4 arrived. I can now run the motor in, will do it on saturday. and start on the car one of these evenings. I am impressed with the quality, EXTREMELY high. I am glad to have a racing machine, not a toy like... ... ... R40 or something...

The shop guy will be thinking "where did this guy got his stuff from?!"

Well, I would send you 4 towels too if I was RC-Mushroom. You'll be even more impressed with the car after you've built it and driven it ... you'll see!
