When charging, the reading your charger gives is just a mathematical equation of the charge rate multiplied by the time the battery was charged for. When you discharge the battery on a decent charger discharger it will record the correct figure.

You're absolutely correct. The main point I was aiming at was that through careful battery management, the capacity of the battery is optimised.Cheers, Mark.

I have a CDC charger that has an onboard discharger. It is a perfect charger for gas use. Does enough for the reciever, glow, transmitter and starterbox batteries to keep them healthy and happy.
