O' Master ... will there be a 16t pinion that works better than the current one? Or is there a tip or two that ensures it works consistently without problems?

To be honest, it is already done. I used it a long time, to find out the right material, also Kolff and Keur used it. Both where happy with the result.

I wish the Alloy radio tray mount had 4mm mounting holes, and the same holes in the chassie were 4mm and countersunk to fit the 4mm screws.

It would save me some machining time.

Here's a tip: Use a Mega and you don't need 16t

Hi!

My used 710 came with a shim between the 1st and 2nd pinion gears, but in the manual is no shim visible.
Do I have to use the shim?

Many thanks in advance!
