Also is the 710 manufactured in Holland or Taiwan? Curious, has nothing to do with anything.

yes, it's KO 302F. if you want same as picture, you can easily do this. just get an on-off switch (smallest one) and modify the top deck of receiver box, thats all. i made this modification by using dremel.

Looks very good and very nicely done. Reminds me on those Friday pics we used to have. You deserve a good pat on the back.

BTW, the 710 looks better than the T1 EVO.

Becareful with the switch... If you insist on using it, try and use it with a DIY switch guard made of lexan piece which would prevent the switch from closing when you get hit at that spot.

Default Lower TH Servo

Appreciate if anyone here can share how to lower the throttle servo. It sits rather high and lowering I think might help in less traction roll possibility and improve handling even further. Thanks.

Jack, use the side flange collar from the oneway pulley on the ball diff. That's what Art Carbonnel uses.

It's strange. Sometimes I find my ordinary belt also wants to slip out with a front diff. But now, I don't find that problem even when I run with that flange collar from the oneway front pulley. Perhaps it's slightly got to do with the front bulkhead alignment or the ecentric cam...

Concerning the PRO belts, I would use them on a clean track but the track we run on tends to have pebbles here and there. So far I'm very happy with my standard kevlar belts. All 3 belts have not been changed since early January this year. And most of all, I particularly like using the 6361 from the front of the Vector / 950 1/8th scale belt as rear belt.

You would get the lowest possible if you use a Futaba S9550 low profile servo.

I've tried mounting the normal S9451 and KO 2144 servos under the radio tray to get the throttle / brake servo to sit lower but the problem would be to avoid the chassis from hitting against the servo body. I've not tried other servo bodies. If you think it's iomportant for you, you could try and mill chassis a little so that the servo body clears the chassis.

Default Tire dia.

Guys,

What's minmum dia tires can we run on the 710 before the suspension geometry starts getting really screwed up?

when i raced this car in the winternats, i used 59 rear and 58 front and it worked very good. i think some even used 58 rear and 57 front. i think that new chasis maybe would help this as well.
