If it's Serpent making them, I would not have any problems trying them out. But if it's of other make, then I would be careful... Those rouge aluminum pulleys would self sharpen after a period of time and would act as a knife on the belts ! In no time, you see them shreading the belts !

For your info, belts are more costly to replace than plastic pulleys.

Advantages? More smooth rolling action.

I was just brousing the first 2 rounds of qualifying and Serpent is doing very well. Scotty has a 13.0... WOW! He would lap me every 5 laps.

What drivers are driving the Serpent 710? Not familiar with Serpent drivers and thinking of getting a 710 or a 3RRR just trying to track who is who and what is what. I currently have a NTC3.

I only know two top guys using them, Sir Salven himself and Richard Keur, there may be more, but those two are the ones i know
