Especially this part;

Other things to change....
If you change tire size but compensate for it using the above method you will need to do something else. When you use smaller tires you will need to raise the car to get the same chassis clearance. When you do this you will change the position of the suspension. If you were to raise the chassis a lot you could end up with the suspension reaching the downstops and not going further. So if you really want to adjust things correctly, you need to change the downstops too. You can use the same trick as above.

If you run for instance 4mm smaller tires than what is in the setup sheet, you need to change the downstops by half the difference. So if the setup sheet calls for a 7mm rear downstop you'd need to set 5mm if you were to run the small tires.

Ah yes the Master! Where is he these days? Hmm up to some secret project, no doubt :sneaky:

No idea.. I`m thinking if it is one piece, when you tighten the screw, you also try to bent the diff pulley. If now two pieces, then it wont matters anymore I guess. But I`m sure there is other thing in their mind with this revision

Hey Pyramid, rev 3 of your black book already?:sneaky:

Is this a permanent secure fix weight to balance chassis? How many grams is that?

Very nice!!! :nod: How did you measure the left-right weight difference?

Start putting weights one by one on that side while the chassis is on a pin like the one XRay has or use a gold tee off ball holder?:blush:

I think it's about 60 grams or so.

Damm... you really are the Miester, that is 57gr + 2 screws and plastic nuts.

The cheapest and fastest way to measure balance weight would have been using same size tires and heigh gauge on the middle left and right. If you are using 2 standard servo size (ex, S9451) and receiver (ex, Futaba R131iP), you will need about 120gr on the left. About 60gr as pictured is using 2 low profiles S9550 servo with 1 Ptransponder underneath throttle servo (about 10gr) and regular Futaba PCM 131iP receiver that given me more convidence of L/R balance.

Using the new hudy tweak board from HSP-108255 will gives more accurate reading but then of course if you could afford 4x digital scales:smile: :smile: :smile: that would be nicer:)

that too, also traction in rear on throttle mid corner we were rolling, so the harder 3mm or 2.5mm rear bar was used. This can be expected at larger events when there are lots of cars laying rubber on surface, the bite is so much we were running 42's and superglueing the tires front and rear.
Yes, exactly my experience. I was testing a few days before the race and all was perfect. Come race day ... there were so mmuch rubber and foam laid down that the traction was giving a lot of problems!

The result was that he had first place with TQ and broke the club record in that track (the short one), hi was running before a R40, so now we are three 710 and two Impulse in the club and making history.

I will be running this Sunday so we will see how it will go, my 710 is doing very good so I hope I can get a good result.

I just finish building my second car (710)

Maybe I'll share with you the fact that I am a member of 2 clubs here in the UK and both track records are held by 710s. :nod: :nod: :nod:
