They feel that with their particular set-up and the high grip track, they needed to prevent the rear part of the chassis from rolling in order to reduce front grip. Strange but that is what I heard.
I think the sway bar settings in general has got a lot to do with relative settings. How hard is the front / rear sway bar compared to the other.

I found that if I set the rear sway bar harder, I would get more on power steering. The rear of the car squares up better and faster in the chicanes.

My sway bar setting with the oneway front;
Hardest (90 degree) in front
Approx 12 mm from edge of the stock 2 mm sway bar and with the sway bar connected to the inner mount on the lower rear arm (not outer as per stock)

Yellow front spring (3rd position on front shock tower)
Red rear spring (3rd position on rear shock tower)
40 wt Serpent Oil with 4x1.2 mm holes all around

Rear diff is medium hard with 40 shore tires all around.

As for you test. If you're looking for on-power steering, the first thing to try is to increase caster. :D
Yeah that's a quick way but I would look into the rear toe in. Less rear toe in = more on power steering not to mention higher top speed.

I find the black ones flake easier. The yellow ones are more wear resistant.

More often when it's set too tight causing the clutch to slip a lot.

I would be testing this setup of yours too.

That's what I love about this car ... it allows me to mess around with the setting and still be able to drive it ... unlike the older brother the 705!

Peter, are those new 710 stuff avail in Jkt yet ? If so, I will call Suryanto to order for myself and other 710 drivers in Bdg. We need part support from you bro !!

Speaking of the new servo saver, I dont see the difference with the stock one. Tell me what the new one has to offer.

Can I do the brake-in on the starter box?

Thank You all for replies and helpful tips.
Max

   Not as bad as it sounds :D Seriously, once you've richened the engine a good amount, then the car won't be going anywhere fast  Maybe best would be for you to do it in a parking lot, where you could drive in a large oval.
Doing the break-in on a starterbox wouldn't provide any load on the engine and maybe there is a danger of reving too high.

It seems they last a good 2 full races (3-4 heats and mains), so it they're truly low-friction, I'm willing to try just to beat Mark. :sneaky: :D

  Well I never!!! Your are a cad and a bounder, sir!

I have actually not replaced the clutch shoes yet since I got the car this year. Black or yellow.

What about Crashed_1? :sneaky: He wears everything out

I've actually fabricated a large square lexan plate which I'm mounting on the rear of the car, "There can only be one!" in very large letters (therefore the large lexan plate), so even Sow can see it. Not sure what'll do to the Aerodynamics yet

Agreed. I found that on hard frontal impact, the chassis bends at the engine area as well as the part where the receiver pack sits. I think the aluminum X bar support and the monoblock would be better to resist bending at this area.

Looks nice on my car :D

Anyway, talking about the worlds in Brazil, I believe from Team Serpent Holland, only Michael is going?
Seems Julius is AWOL :( Flying too much I reckon!

PAH! I've never seen the track in my life - ehm and I wasn't that hooded figure there last week, honest! :D
Onkel Sow has spun a yarn about flying off to America this week, just so he can go to the track (which just happens to be his LOCAL track) and practice each day  :flaming:
