lots and lots of brake with the oneway.... drag brake will make you faster with more predictable turn in .. most of the really fast guys are not going through the corner faster than you but slowing down enough to turn....

if your oneway car will not brake you have a droop, tweak or shock issue...

I wish I were in the army. I'd already have a 710.

Where do I enlist?

D, It is indeed a production version. A few show models were made and sent to various places.
Not long now!

Hey Blue Sky, glad you could make it here. The 710 uses a different optional ball diff in the front. Therefore, no, you are not able to use the front geardiff set from the Impulse / 705.

The 710 kit comes with a one way that is able to be locked to become a solid front with an optional item.
Great! Thanks for the reply InitialD. It'll be very likely that I'll switch my Impulse Pro to the 710 some time before next spring. Outdoor season is over here in the US NW. You're lucky to be able to run all year round. See Ya.

Agreed. Some use drag brakes. What I do is I try to control braking points. I press the brakes half way when I need to slow down to take a corner. Perhaps 3/4 way. If I need to slow down fast, I tap the brakes fully a few times which does not lock the rear wheels fully. Kinda like what ABS does. When the wheels lock, there is a tendency of the rear slipping.

I set the EPA on the brakes to full (120%) and then tone down the travel by using dual rates on the Tx to like 50 to 60%. With the 3PK, the turning wheel knobs are easy to access the throttle / brake dual rates with the thumb. On a long main, I increase the dual rate when I need more brakes (due to brake fade or when oil gets into the brake pads ) and try to do it when I'm in the pits or on the fly at the straight if I'm daring enough !

Agreed. Rear droop MUST be set equal. Shocks must be set to equal length left and right. Tweak must be balanced in the center of the bubble on the tweakstation.

In case you didnt see it, about 6 or 7 posts up, The Border announced they are releasing the product December 10th.

Must be something to it, they have 92 different spare parts available for purchase on their website right now ????

That's correct, as we are located near the Serpent HQ's and got our hands on a pretty large number of first kits, we are able to have the S710 as one the first resellers. And ship pre-ordered cars on the 10th. By the way, there are 3 kits left to order...
