Your really needy today.. a Couple grams on the nose most people won't notice.. add an oz and people notice.. I have used it and noticed small diff, but It wasn't anything I would change setup ride height or anything for. You crash a lot, use it.. don't crash.. don't use it. 80% of the time I use the stock bumper.. If your really worried about parts breakage get the wide front bumper (lower plastic deal)

meronr 01-20-2008 09:12 PM

I'll admit that helps alot. Like everyone I know that runs an NT1 is blow away at some of the things I do. But my day job is doing the same thing.. figuring out how to make a care faster and more reliable.. I also hate things that leak...

anyhow will have continue the rc school for me brother, tommorrow bc its 12:15 on the east coast and i have to be up to early

rx7ttlm 01-20-2008 09:22 PM

hint with the bumper.. It would be better on a technical track than an open track to use that bumper...

will keep that in mind, but that sucks bc open track usually faster and faster means the boards hit harder:ha::ha::ha:

hi guys will the white kyosho clutch weights fit the xray?

these items below:

http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info....oducts_id=4071

also do they kyosho clutch shoes fit?

final question, are the xray nuts that keep the pivot balls in the hubs 10mm? i'd like to install the kyosho blue bling versions:D listed on the below link

Z-Mann 01-21-2008 06:23 AM

they do fit tomb.snowy explained that he built the clutch as per manual, and wasnt engaging to his liking ,so he cut the fly weights .i did the same but keep all the peices in order.the kyosho white weights are a better option as posted previously on this thread.can u get me a set aswell???????

the pivot ball caps are aprox 9mm on the nt1 so prob no they wont fit ,i used plumbers thread tape to stop em winding out as they are a loose fit .thread lock didnt seem to work

rcfoolz 01-21-2008 06:53 AM

I had used the mugen ones at first, but went back to the Xray ones, they seem to fit better, and all I did was put a drop of lock tight on the threads, lit it dry then put them on. now I don't have any issues with them backing out.

i try not to but sometimes they just come out and get you. the plan is to always stay away from those nasty boards, they just make that beautiful body i had done look so terrible:lol:

rx7ttlm 01-21-2008 11:46 AM

yeah, my nitro body always gets chewed up for some reason.. my electric bodies look pretty damn new lol.. oh wait, could it be that My electric body doesn't get 4-5 hours per season on it? lol

jaykay 01-21-2008 03:04 PM
