that mount you need, sorry.

i was very impressed especially considering the NT1 driver is probably not as fast with the tourer as the other kyosho drivers due to the fact that he does not race tourer as often, although he does have a vast amount of experience.

What kind of 1:1 racecars do you run?.
i'm an engineer on formule renault 2.0 and in the 08 season we are going to start with formula master. Really cool cars, paddle shift gearbox and everything.
I really like to use 1:1 racing techniques on these little cars.
Ive build a complete corner weights station, which can be tweaked to be perfectly leveled.

Is it okay to put direct lipo connection to receiver & servo ? I mean 7.4V directly into receiver & servo ?

Pro Formula Mazda / Mazda Atlantics... I have calibrated scales and a scaled down version of my MK setup pad lol. I have found it hard at times, since a lot of things aren't the same with the lil cars. And my feedback with the lil cars sucks compared to driving real cars lol, theres no feel... .

Well I suck, Didn't make it to the track today. I guess I will true tires, build shocks and have everything dialed for next weekends race...

Review- Airtronics Hi Speed/ Hi Torque servos don't work that well on the throttle for the safety side. IE throttle return spring doesn't have a chance. Fitted a Ko Propo Servo.. like butter with less slop.. only time will tell..

with the new Micro switch from Xray. Its tough to fit a 3000 series Spektrum RX in the rx case with all the wires and what not. Just pony up and get the micro RX. There is a lot more room to work with..

getting ready for the three hour torture test. Last time we found belts, and the rest of the car last fine... The shocks, some bearings needed overhaul and clutch did need to be rebuilt however.. Clutch bearings- the 5x8= fried, the 5x10 was maybe reusable with oiling, but I changed anyhow. Clutch endplay needs to be adjusted to much, I will try some things to see if they work out better.. (like ko flywheel nut etc)

I have yet to have an on track failure that was xrays fault. I pulled the pivot ball through the front knuckle ONCE.. in MANY hours of racing/ testing. First time out with my mugen I ended up breaking the front knuckle.... and it didn't stop there...

Get the car to rotate a bit better on low bite, and make these clutch bearings last for ever.. and you have a car that you don't HAVE to teardown all the time. With my previous cars, I felt I always had to look for broken things.. not anymore lol. This time after the three hour race, I had a binding servo link and some bearings i wanted to change because they had like 6 hours on them.. But nothing I couldn't run again at a club race..

You can do it but the problem is that there is no telling how long your servos will last i dont reccomend that you do it just put the regulator. The problem is that when you charge a lipo pack it doent charge to 7.4v it charges up to as high as 8.6 volts;)

rx7ttlm 01-20-2008 02:08 PM

weak, I was just up late last night going through the car.. New engine bearings, con rod, all the driveline bearings are new, and some updates so I can change things faster.. Built up a lot of spares... 2 cars worth of stuff lol.. Aligned the car with three diffrent geometries(track/ roll centers) so I could test stuff fast without putting it on the setupboard 50 times.. Just put it on the scales...

rx7ttlm 01-20-2008 02:10 PM

Since I didn't wake up till 11, I am just going to do some shock modifications and set them up. I will go test at another place tomorrow I guess... Just have a hard on for that track since its permanent and we do 3 hour races there...

on a different subject i really think Xray has to come up with some better O-rings for sealing the diffs the o-rings are weak and definately prone to leaking;)

Well I solved that before I ever had a problem. I use black RTV coating the sealing surfices of the diff... they dont leak a drop that way...
