had not taken any pics yet. I did make a new shock tower today, a 25% weight savings...and just as strong.....(2.6grams lighter)

would like to see how you went about it.. I wasnt to worried about the front shock tower weighing to much lol.. its graphite lol. Have you made Light weight bodies yet? sheesh..

Shock tower would be really super light if you made one, without the epoxy resin...

So I have a plan guys... I am going to go test tomorrow at speed world.. and try for the track record in cold weather :batman:

an NT1 raced at our track today with the driver being an experienced tourer and 8th scale driver. He raced against the tourer champ of 2007 (kyosho driver) and second place geter for 2007, (kyosho driver). The Xray was noticably quicker overall in the 1/2 hour compared to the kyoshos, and handled the middle section of our track alot smoother than the two kyoshos.

i was impressed. The car was box stock except for front multi, cvd's (i think).

the setup was box stock with the shocks front and rear 1 down from the standard tower position.
