Matt,
Thats great that they are going to update the chassis and spur. But I have spend almost $70 bucks on spur gears as it is now, and now I am going to have to buy yet another version, another chassis, or spend money on a M2C chassis. This isn't what I was expecting when I bought the truggy.....

I am running it. It is a bit heavier than stock and does change the handling slightly. It paints much easier and I trim the hole for the engine a little farther forward than marked for easier glo plug access. So far, it is holding up much better than stock for me and that was my main reason for switching.

Just in case anyone was on the border on buying the proline enforcer NT48 body, here is my little review.
This last weekend Billy Fischer let me run his practice enforcer body.
To start off, the two main positives I feel you would get from this body is the thickness, durability and the looks. But that is where it pretty much ends for me. I feel it made the truck handle a little bit differently, more twitchy and a little looser all around. Also the body is twice as thick therefore being twice as heavy (this could be a plus or negative depending on you) the body is also way to wide and does not come anywhere near the side guards, when starting the truck the glow igniter is at a really awkward angle (same when temping it) and lastly and most importantly to me, my engine ran 40-50 degrees hotter with this body compared to the stock one.
I do like the looks but I'm sticking with the stock one.

Motox450 thats also my point. Tekno is aware that theres a problem but we still ended up paying for it. Doesnt look like their usual philosophie and just plane s$cks when you bought the truggy/buggy and have not even 3 weeks on it....
Dissapointed..

It is really important mesh is set properly on the current NT48. I have at least four gallons on my current spur/clutch bell, enough that I replaced my clutchbell a couple weeks back due to wear. The mesh should be quite tight, just enough to barely move and not make hardly any noise.
My trick is to take a driver and place it horizontally between into the spur gear and top plate. This won't allow it to move even slightly. You can then wiggle the clutch bell and see exactly how much movement you have. If you don't know what I mean, I can make a video quick.

Guys I know how to set mesh....this isn't my first time. There is a design flaw with the open hole for motor placement in the chassis. If the track has large jumps or flat landings the lack of material in the center of the chassis allows for to much flex causing the spur to break. If your track doesn't have a great deal of large jumps I would guess some would not have issues. Our track does have larger jumps and three of us are having issues. the others have went to the M2C chassis to correct the issue. Tekno has stated on here multiple times they are aware of the issue and are working to correct it. I just hope they plan on making it right with those of us who have had issues.

Hi guys,
This issue has taken longer than expected to resolve. We will have new spurs and a revised chassis coming very soon. Anyone that has had trouble with the spur gears is encouraged to contact our customer support when we have the items available. We'll do what we can to help you get going again. Thanks.
