The increased performance is probably the bearings breaking in but also your engine breaking in and you prob have smoother power delivery and such...
About the new tanks... I spoke to Thomas at Tekno yesterday and it should be definitely by end of month but I got the sense it would be more like 2 weeks. A diff oil will never stay completely clear. I change them about once a month when I race every saturday but more because I want to but not necessary |

How often do you change the differential oils, i have found that after a practice day the oil gets very dark, im using the new shims.
After that only you can decide how often you will change liquids. I.e. our local champion in both nitro and electro classes changes oils once per season. In case of normal oils and adequate driving they can last long without noticeable degradation. But bad oil can die very fast: i've cooked some noname oil in my ebuggy' rear diff just within one pack! |

Hello,
As most NB48 owners know, there was an issue with the original fuel tank’s durability. We have worked very hard to correct the problem since the launch of the vehicle. We have received our new updated tanks and we are ready to send out replacements to all affected NB48 owners. The new tanks have been flawless in testing and we are very comfortable releasing them to the public knowing that the issues have been resolved. We have also improved many other areas of the tank in the process, providing you with the best tank on the market. One small question: is it supposed to remove black o-rings from original tank mount package and use grommet only as dampener? |

Tekno, I got another question about the new tank, do we have to follow manual instructions for the fuel lines? I mean for the long and arrangement around the tank?

With TEKNO being a 6 man team it is easy and fast to fix and find issues that pop up. TEKNO is small but them guys are always testing and working on the products we all race. I know I only have the ebuggy and a corr but I hope to have the nb48 sometime this year. There kits are tuff as nails, an as long as they build kits I will race them.

Well another great fun day with this NB48 I made a few changes as recommended from a few pages ago.
Rear toe 4 degs and front arms swing rear 1 degs and change sway bars front to rear etc. Buggy handled perfect and was easier to drive :p Here is a heat sheet from today showing how easy it was to drive and not crash and just stay around the lap time I could do. |
Well the tank held up great for my first time out with the car. Sadly the left front carrier didnt. Snapped it when the car went crazy off a quad jump in the main. The car felt great but the driver wasn't last night lol.
For my first time out with the car. I have to say this is the most comfortable I felt in years with my car. |
