well we had a good turn out today at CSOR I was able to to get into 3rd place for the A Main and after a bad start on the first corner I was in last but at the end of the 20 min I was able to get up to 5th place well happy with this buggy,,,, run very well started out dry the half way though started to rain and the setup was able to cope with the change in condition which it is the first time this has happened, as normally you set it up for the dry and it is no good for the wet,,,,, but the set up I used was three or four pages ago work really well and so happy, was able to really push buggy in the wet and dry
here is how the day went heat 1 went off and as this was the first time i was to be on this new lay out i treated it as if i was on a away day,,, first heat get your lines and find the bumps, so i done a 6 laps in 5mins 19 sec which i thought is not too bad as it was the first time on the new layout heat 2 weather seemed to be drying up and the grip was coming on nicely was able to get a nice 7 laps in 5mins 48 sec which again i seemed to really getting to grips with the track heat 3 the rain started so i thought better take it easy to see how this set up would be in the damp condition all seems good nd was able to do a 6 laps in 5mins 7 sec which was good heat 4 the rain was on again so now the track had changed to the point where it was full wet race so thought well im hoping this set up works well managed to get 6 laps in 5mins 19sec so heat 2 and 3 was to count and put me into the A Final in 3rd place which i was well happy with, i knew this would be hard at the top and so it was A final got away good but got hit first and second corner which put me well down the order so by the end of the first lap i was in 8th place not too good, but i put my head down and chilled out and thought there was a long way to go yet after 12 laps and a pit stop i was out in 6th place as i was going for a three stopper as i was not sure my run times, after my last stop i was i 5th place and it stayed like that till the end of the race, i got close to 4Th at one point but i was pushing it and the track bit me back and i lost some time once again so finished up 5Th place with 23 laps in 20Min's 12 sec |

Well the tank held up great for my first time out with the car. Sadly the left front carrier didnt. Snapped it when the car went crazy off a quad jump in the main. The car felt great but the driver wasn't last night lol.
For my first time out with the car. I have to say this is the most comfortable I felt in years with my car. |

Tekno, do you have any plans about making your own tools? Steel quality you're using in NB48 for camber links seems very good, and i think something like hex tips (std. and ball end) with handle for 1/4" drill bit and with big Tekno logo on it gonna be very useful, as well as 4mm turnbuckle.

being honest with you it was the first time I run the engine in the rear, and being honest I didn't think it would work,,,, but now id not go back to the forward spot again,,,, engine is well clear of the fuel tank even if your bell came loose, it even jumped flatter in the air no more noise down was a real joy to drive, and every person at the track made a commit on how much rear grip I was able to get compared to others well well happy I tried it and never look back now, you are also able to run with less droop front and rear, and it means no more messing about with it when the weather turns wet, just able to run it the way it is wet or dry, I will try and get a set up sheet sorted for you all to view

Always worth getting a set one level higher and lower.
|
The Tekno orange rear springs would be good to pick up.
