Yes, the material is changed and much better. We have a few test tanks with the new material and they all made it back from PNB in one piece. We just thought if we're making some changes to the tank, might as well improve a couple other things as well.

Nice great job!

Well I started building my kit tonight. Taking my time because there's no rush.
I got the kit from Fierce RC Solutions. Ordered on Friday morning and it was in my hands this afternoon so very fast...freaky fast shipping! When its times to stock up on parts,I will be giving Fierce a call for that as well.

These grommets gonna be in one bag with new tank? Or they'll be sold separately?

They will be included with the new tank so it will be complete.

That body is right in line with the side guards where it it meant to sit the body is not meant to sit lower then the side guards

Blind Freddy can see that body is sitting on perfectly fine

^^^?
i read a few pages back that the body of the nb48 should end right at the mud guard and no overlap? Is this true? on my eb48 i use velcro on the mudguard and on the inside of the body to hold it on, why is it different w nitro?

Im having a hard time getting the FTW body to fit nicely, I think its mainly because of the tekno air filter, anyone else encounter this and is there a better air filter?

The Tekno air filter is too wide. I am using a Mugen air filter.

Boys, what spring options are you guys settling on with stock pistons? Oils aside, I'm looking for a few options springs to carry in the pitbox. Stock front springs feel too soft.

Gauging interest in a 5mm rear carbon tower for the SCT/EB/NB. Who would all be interested?

Tekno makes a 4mm one. Has anyone had issues with it being too weak?

Hoese37 04-04-2014 11:33 AM

Ok I just heard back from Bruce @Xtreme. The 5MM CF rear tower for the SCT/EB/NB would be right around $30. Let me now if you want one, and I can setup to buy a run of these.
