A friend and I have over 5 gallons on our buggies and have not had the tank issue. The one thing we have in common is we do not tighten the tank all the way down. when you tighten the tank down leave it just a little loose when i say little i mean little just so that there is a little movement and i would bet a dollar you will never break one again :)

Yes, I did it on both tank post and my fuel tubing is 6mm.

I really Doubt it will bother any of the performance of the buggy.....The fuel tubing acts a shock absorber... With my body on I see no noticeable difference... Car still drives awesome!
Plus I'd rather deal with changing my setup before settling with A DNF.

Here's a pic with my body on...

Def raised up, body is barely covering the side guard.....

That body is right in line with the side guards where it it meant to sit the body is not meant to sit lower then the side guards

Blind Freddy can see that body is sitting on perfectly fine

Quick update on the tanks. We have a new material and a fix for the clunk. We are working on a couple more things to make the tanks better before we get a new batch to update the existing tanks. We were hoping to have something this week, but it could take another week or two to get them here. We just want to make sure that if we're going through the trouble to make things better that we go the extra mile and make it great. Another week or two now will benefit everyone for the life of the product. More info as we have it...

Thanks!

Thanks for the Update! Keep up the hard work!

So how will Tekno be handling the tank "issue"? Will they be sent out to team drivers who already bought the kit, or do we have to purchase them ourselves?

Once we have the tanks in hand we will have instructions on that.

That's why my 600 bucks gone to Tekno instead of JQ. Any plans on updating part no. for new tanks?

Most likely there will be a new part # to avoid confusion.

Just wondering why NB48 was on bottom of the "best sellers" list in category 1/8 nitro buggy kits at amain (now it's on the 10th place). And why only one product review, i think that other customers' reviews have not so small weight for those who just make decision. There are many happy owners in this thread, do you think its fairly enough that AE8.2 sits on the 4th place? Writing few phrases as review isn't hard job, but definitely adds a step to new models from Tekno.

yes well that is my review of the buggy i thought it only right in doing as it is a new buggy and the more people add reviews the more people will look at it plus it is even harder for me here as i am the only person in the UK who runs this amazing buggy
