That's closer to where I had it to start. Are you not catching on the air filter there?

I have one, just installed it (with fwd engine position), everything seems fine. Gonna run in today and post some pics.
p.s.: filter is RC8 version.

Hey buddy, I just noticed that your air filter mount bracket that is screwed into the top of center diff, it's backwards, it should leaning to the front not rear unless my eyes are playing tricks on me

Not in the rear engine location setup. Last page of the manual has the required changes including turning that piece around. Thanks for taking a look though.

Oh ok got it, didn't realize you were in rear engine setup, I don't run the stock Tekno filter because I run the FTW body. If you get fed up with the snags then check out the Losi or even traxxas filter.

No it won't. FTW is coming out with a NB48 body. Looks real nice.

I wish proline would make a gen3 bulldog body.

Where r the pics of the FTW nb48 body? The proline Phantom looks kinda cool for the eb48, but I love my ftw bodies

MattDub just got couple of bodies painted. Saw it on facebook. Maybe he will post him here if he gets a chance.

Less messing with main filter, less pullouts, less chances to catch dirt into. Thats my opinion.

Someone asked few pgs back about hopups for this buggy. Here is my list:
1) Alu servo horn. I suppose there is no questions why.
2) Fuel tank lid pulls from TLR. Of course you can make nice pulls using some zip ties, but TLR pulls are awesome.
3) Shock boots from TLR. Very great thanks to someone who've adviced me about those boots. Stock ones are very thin, and it's supposed to put'em between shock end and spring cup, so they wear very fast. Losi version isn't so thin, and installs onto shocks like on my AE ebuggy - lower end of a boot doesn't go between cap and shockend, it's just placed on the shaft part.
4) Rear skid plate from DE. I was worrying about performance (some ppl says that jumping isn't such good with skid plates on), but for me there was no difference after ride past weekend. We have very harsh surface eating chassis very quick (semi clay/sand soil), so rear skid is a must.
5) Good 2.0mm hex. Good 2.5mm ballend hex. Good tools overall.
6) Closed end wheel nuts. Haven't bought some for my nitrobuggy yet, but run one set on my ebuggy. No dirt inside the center of stub axles.

Got my air compressor, tried to use it for cleaning buggy. One more time realized how f..king good NB48 layout is: unscrew, pull apart, clean. 40 mins from powering compressor to putting clean chassis back into hauler, and that's w/o electric screwdriver and with a note about break-in period for compressor itself.
