Hi guys
I'm moving from an RC8 to an 8ight 2.0. Will the Associated starter box work with the 2.0, or do I need to switch boxes? If I need to switch then what's the best box for the 2.0? I do like the way my current box fits the RC8. You don't have to move the car all around to get it to work properly. I see there are some mentions of problems with the Losi boxes. Can anyone give a good suggestion as to what to use? Thanks for the info! Edit....Sorry, I just realized that I'm posting in the 8T section. But hey, if anyone can help, that would be great. |
I have a Run on some Boeing Grade 4.75mm CF tower's that Will Incorporate Both holes for 1.0 and 2.0 T.....as in if you want to do the body swap....this will be Golden.....Ill try to keep you informed as the machinist is in the process of workin out the design....price....not too sure...maby 30 a peice ? prolly a couple bucks more tho as the quality is UN matched and you cant just go out and buy this kind of CF.

Rear bearing issue
I had the bearing issue this weekend. It was my first organized race event. It was only the left rear inner and outter bearing but after 3 - 5min quals they were blown. Then after the 30 min main they were blown again. I used new losi bearings the same ones I used when I raced my 1.0. I never had this many issues. The track was fast and mostly smooth a small rythum section and one drop off but not a rough track at all. I think I'm going to have to upgrade to a larger bearing like some of you have done. Anyone have any more info on the king headz rear hubs?

The losi adj. rear toe blocks have a range of to between 2 and 4 degrees. Not sure about antisquat though. The losi system is really the best.

The M2C kit is adjustable from 0.5° to 5.0° (in 0.5° increments) for Toe, and 1° to 5.0° (in 1.0° increments) for AntiSquat. There are also custom 0.25° increment inserts included with the kit. Plus, the anodizing matches the new 2.0 chassis and towers, and can be custom engraved with your name. :D
