I never said it wasn't worth it....but shipping is on the pricey side...they claim 140 or something to canada....which boggles me.....as i get stuff from HK all the time....never anything larger then a small package....but still....i would have thought 60-80$....but 140 ...i dont think so.

My buddy got his on ebay from Dinball and they had it at $445 with $4 shipping YES $4 shipping. Which dinball is in HK, well he paid right away and about 3 days later they came back saying they made a mistake on shipping and he had to send them another $75.. Like ummmm WTF??????? So he paid of course because I dont care what ya pay , if it's less than the $700 everyone else is paying then your doing good. So for $425 and $110 or whatever for shippinng your still getting the thing for alot cheaper and saving enough to buy more hop-ups when everyone else just gets the same truck with no extra loot..
Either way my buddy is new to ebay and paypal and sellers doing that like they did so I told him all he ha to do is file a claim through paypal for that other $75 and they'll refund it..
So now yesterday he dropped it off and I loaded it up
Losi brushless conversion
Mamba Monster maxx V3 esc
Mamba Neu 2200kv brushless motor
Losi hard case 5000mah 4S lipos
LPR panther switches on proline LPR rims with molded foams
M2C toe plates
Hitec HS 7955TG Steering servo

Anyone going to get lipos get the Zippy-h 5000mah 4S their like $85 each,, he will be buying the 8000mah 4S next week though for longer run times..

And lastly did anyone else get the little tool kit with theirs... handle with removable bottom and 4 hex wrenches in there????? Thats the best thing tool wise I have seen come with any rc ever!! Throw it into a drill and your all set!

Yeah I think you need them checked because last time I checked this truck has not been sold (8t 2.0) as an electric BUT AS A NITRO!!!!!!!! And when you get more posts and become a mod then come back and check me on what I post where!! ANYONE ELSE ON HERE GET A LOSI 8ight T 2.0 THAT WAS ELECTRIC WHEN THEY GOT IT SEALED IN THE BOX!!! Oh and lastly I was primarily posting about the price that the discussion was about for these trucks!!

Ok, my 2.0 arrived on monday. As you all assume the box looks like if someone has practice a little boxing, and both front zip tie were broken. I has to said that when I saw the two front shock ends broken, they took me off the emotion of my new truggy, I belive Losi has to kick some of their control department to fix this.. Also I checked as someone said that the sway bar were overthigtened.., and the servo saver too thigt..

But in spite of all this, is an amazing truggy, it turn too fast for me and brake bloking all four wheels is incredible. I used to have the RTR 1.0 and belive that was an excellent truggy, but now I has to said that the 2.0 takes all the credit.
The materials are of a very good quality, but the assembly is poor if you think that they advertised like a race roller.

Also I use the Mach 427, that is an excellent engine for me, and can race with any other TOP engine. Easy to tune, and works very cold. But the problem is that you cant use the rotostart system, so I have to make a modification to the engine to fit with the 2.0 engine mount and the rotostart

Here you can see two engines one normal, and the second with the modification in the backplate and rotosart systems. is quite easy to do

Somebody didn’t get their nap today.

I was extremely nice/ PC about the electric thing just making an observation sorry you took it so personal. You did infact reference the electric aspect and even asked a question about the lipo's that power it. The rest of your rant does not deserve a response.

Default hub and spindle mod

here is a pic of the 2.0 hub and spindles modded for the 8x16x5 bearings. i used some bearings that were around bocos but i usually use avids. and for those that like the bling kingheadz will be offering rear aluminum hubs with the bigger bearing in the near future. for those who want the stock hubs i will do them for you.
