If a setup sheets say 2 toe it's 2 on each side not both sides added together to get 2 the rear is measured the same way what ever degree of rear toe plate you have on you're truggy put it on a setup stand and you will see, so if you have a 3 rear toe plate you will have 3 on each side not 1.5 on each side

I think it should be clarified on the setup sheets, as I took it to be overall toe. Hopefully it's not too far out then.

Really? A 3 degree toe plate is giving 6 degree's total? That's a lot of toe.

damang999 10-15-2009 12:34 PM

ok sweet .thanks guys. i know if you put a 3 plate on the rear you have 3 each side, just never been sure about the front. i will put it back on the setup and change it to 2 a side.mine came with 4.5 each side out of the box:lol:

Exactly. I run a 3 degree setting in the rear, it doesnt "add up" to 6.

Well most of the Losi team drivers seem to write it per-side; not total.

Real world(1:1); yeah; it would be split per side for the total. I don't know why some drivers were doing that though.

mblgjr 10-15-2009 12:44 PM

And btw in the rear 3deg. or rear toe in is 3-deg. per-side.

Measure it.

Jammin57 10-15-2009 12:57 PM

Toe camber and caster are all measured the same if a setup sheet says 3 toe it's 3 on each side same thing with camber if it says 2 degrees it's 2 on each wheel you never add each side to get the total

with all due respect, that statement is wrong. it is by side or by tire. if it is 2 of camber it is 2 by tire same as toe in or out.

It was a nice 84 degrees out today, and I got my first chance to go run my 2.0 at our track after it was broken in. I've got to say, this is one heck of a truck. I noticed that it really likes to be pushed hard, the harder i pushed, the better I got. This is my first real time racing a proper truggy on a track, and it was so much better in every aspect than my Muggy. My OS VSpec .21 ran at 230 the whole day, and kept its tune the whole time. The more I drove I started getting more and more confident to take our big triple and I was able to start consistently hit it by the end. Despite quite a few tumbles, cartwheels, and missed landings the truck kept on coming back for more! It just wouldn't break! This is a really durable truck. Because it is the end of our race season, our track was pretty blown out, but it didn't faze the truggy whatsoever. there were 2 other guys with 8t 2.0s and it was a blast to race each other and really push each other's trucks hard. Sometime during the middle a guy had his 1/10 Slash right near the downside of our big tabletop and I just skied it and landed full on top of the guy. He popped both of his rear shock caps and I felt really bad. He was fine and said it was no big deal. My only regret is that the racing season is over and winter's just around the corner here. Next year I'll be ready.
