Its not alot but it can add up and then if you factor in the tax amain charges and carolinas does not (at least not to CA then you are saving over 11 bucks, thats lunch man. Drop in another 25 bucks worth of other parts you may need and theres free shipping. And the parts are all in stock at carolinasrc.com>>> http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/Scripts/default.asp
Just my 2 cents...

Are the losi starter boxes different from the 1.0 to the 2.0? I have a 2.0 truggy and I just picked up a 1.0 buggy. Will a losi box start both?

I was going to get a bce chassis but i got a better deal on a new tune flex. I was going to get the LW outdrives for all the diffs but wasnt sure if the LW spur gear was any good. And i get all my parts at battlefeild r/c and save alot more:sneaky::nod:

you will wait a little bit for the bce chassis after you order it but it is worth it. I love the one on my truck. And the lightened spur gear works well I have been using them since they came out with great success.

Are you using the 50 or 48 tooth?

LVBaja 01-15-2010 12:14 PM

Most people run the 50T in the truggy and the 48T in the buggy. There's no reason you couldn't run the 48T in the truggy though to calm down the bottom end or increase the top speed a bit. You could also accomplish something similar with a 14T clutch bell and the standard 50T spur.

+1 what Scott said. Its a great tuning option. Don't forget the original 8ight T came with a 48t main gear.

Scott you paint up a Bulldog 8ight T2.0 yet? I got mine mounted and two I have to paint for my buddies. The body looks killer mounted up. I hope it performs as well or better then the stock body.

Does this body come pre-cut already? I run an electric version and don't need all those holes. Thanks...

aaron joy 01-16-2010 07:38 AM

No it does not come precut. It seems pretty thick from what I can tell cutting it out. It has all the previsions for the fuel gun and the fuel lid puller. I think it looks awesome, way better then the JC punisher.

bobbyblaze 01-16-2010 08:06 AM

is the bulldog body stong like stock & jc body?

aaron joy 01-16-2010 08:48 AM

Bobby it seems pretty good. I won't know until I run it next month. I hope it does crack like the two stock I had, they would crack on the rear mounting holes from chassis flex.

I dremmel out the front holes like the back ones are so it has a little room to move. Make them more oval.
