yea jason got it started up it was cracked one way bearing because the POS hobby shop by my house sucks and it vapor locked and he just sat there and tried to crank on the starter and cracked it(gotta love hobby people)
i only got it from there cuz they were cheap.. but i was down at AE and got it squared away i love their customer service he gave me a new starting shaft said they did in deed have a bad batch and also a new remote glow plug heater thing because mine wasnt working real well... but they said they are willing to take care of any problems that the car has no questions asked so my choice is AE |

Going bladderless with the SC8 shocks.
Some of us may not run into this as we do not have RC8's or 8T's...so I am reposting it here, this is a modification to the shocks to turn them into an emulsion style shock instead of a bladder style. It also prevents excessive pressure from blowing the shock caps off, which some people have had issue with.

As for the up travel limiter...if you don't use it the shock has so much compression that the CVD will bottom out in the outdrive and cause it to bend. With the normal caps, the actual cap acts as the up travel limiter along with the pressure or foam above the bladder. In our testing we've found that the emulsion style shock is more plush and consistent in the rough sections and overall make the car a bit easier to drive. This conversion is fairly inexpensive to test and is something that you should keep in your arsenal, even if you don't prefer it at your home track. http://www.rctech.net/forum/attachme...shock_caps.jpg |
