Anybody put, seen, or heard of a 2-speed in an SC8?

I generally use mine as a break-in platform for my race .21's, sans body and cage, but I'm wondering what kind of engine to get just for it.. Thinking a .25 or .28 - thought the best .25's (NR Roma and OS 25XZ) are too pricey for a mess-around car like this.. I don't completely trust the air-flow under the body for an expensive engine(and I have tons of holes drilled all over mine..) Maybe a Picco Boost? Anybody have a big-shot engine in their SC8? Would like to see some video..

That is nice looking.. My front window is also cut out, plus a bunch of holes drilled all over the back of the body.. I still think it's kind of like a sauna for the engines if you're running them hard at all..

Does anyone have part numbers for the 17 tooth clutchbell and aluminum clutch shoes?

also, do the sc8.2e shock towers work on the sc8 to upgrade it to 8.2 specs

These are the numbers you need:

#89127 - Clutch Bell, 17T

and if you've upgraded to the .2 suspension already:

#89586 - RC8.2e RTR shock tower (front)

#89587 - RC8.2e RTR shock tower (rear)

...and the SC8.2e, RC8.2 RTR and RC8.2e RTR share the same towers. It's the FT RC8.2 & FT RC8.2e that have the different, shorter towers. (This requires changing some of the shock parts too.)

I've looked through the manuals, Comparing what's new and old, and I have a list for the SC8.2 and RC8.2 upgrades....I'm hoping this is everything, but I don't know for sure until I do the upgrade myself.....If anyone does it before me, let me know if I'm missing anything.....Here we go:

That's because the body mounts come as a pair/set. Therefore, you only need to buy one package that includes the front and rear body mount:
