If Mugen ever had a prototype +3mm chassis, I'm pretty sure that Donrod would have heard about it.

+1 Actually for the record !!! BCE had a 5mm chassis out and was working on the new X3 because of the flaws found with the X5. (loose rear, picky to get dialed) both wich are the oppisite of the standard Mugen traits that most people count on from the MBX6. This was all happening before Mugen had a 5mm chassis. Also BCE had a 5mm truck chassis being ran at a national level for over a year before Mugen decided to follow suit. But by the time Mugen came out with theirs, BCE already found the BEST combo was the X3 in buggy and also changed the truck to the now called "X" chassis.

Just some history for those who are confused on wich came first, "the chicken or the egg"

Good luck this season Donrod!!

Leave it to you to bring up length and stiffer, you single guys..... see ya soon

Mugen silver 8.5 = 4.32 in/lb
Kyosho light blue = 3.50 in/lb

closest Mugen is the old black 11.25 spring = 3.88 in/lb
